[Cayden's POV]

The next few couple of weeks living with CC- I mean, Dad- were pretty cool.

I'm not getting so much nightmares anymore, but I've regained some connection with Alex. She said Johnnie moved from Nebraska, but his phone broke so they lost contact.

Dad's also been teaching me some drumming lessons, which I gotta admit its been a while since I took any.

Today my dad and Uncle Ashley has an interview so I'm joining them.

I fed Callie after getting ready. I had on a New Year's Day tshirt, black skinnies, and grey high tops.

My dad then came down, wearing his signature bandana, BVB tshirt, torn black skinnies, and TUK shoes.

"Hey, ready?" he asked.

"Yeah, let's go," he said, getting his phone, keys, and wallet as I got my phone and followed him out to the car and soon driving off.

"So, the guy's name is Bryan Stars?" I asked.

"Yep. He's interviewed me once with Andy, but since Ash never had a turn, its now me and Ashley," he said.

"Oh, cool," I said as we continued driving.

It didn't take long to arrive at Ashley's house and climb out, seeing his car and another car parked out front.

"Right on time," he said as we walked over and knocked on the door, and Uncle Ashley answered.

"Sup, guys? Come on in," he smiled as we walked in. "Bryan's already there with his partner."

"Sweet. SUP, BRYAN?!" Dad yelled and laughed as he ran forward.

I smiled and walked over with Uncle Ashley and was surprised by who I saw there.

"Johnnie!?!" I said. He turned and his eyes widen, as well as his smile.

"CAYDEN!!" He exclaimed and came over and threw his arms around me as we hugged.

"Wait, you're Cayden's friend?" Dad asked him as we hugged tightly.

"We grew up together, since my mom and his mom were co-workers when we were kids," I said. "Pretty much even shared a crib."

"Oh, cool," Dad said.

"Wait, so, he really is your dad?" Johnnie asked, looking up at me.

"Yeah. He's a pretty good guy, and remembered my mom, too," I said, smiling at my dad. He smiled back.

"Cool," Johnnie smiled. He seemed more shy than usual.

He was still kind of shorter than me, and his hair was darker. If anything, he still kept his cute features.

And yes, I think he's cute. Everyone does.

"Hey, how about Cayden and Johnnie go hang out at the nearby plaza, have a little reunion? There's a Starbucks there," Ash said. "We can handle the interview here."

"You sure?" Johnnie asked Bryan.

"Yeah, no problem, dude," Bryan smiled.

"Have fun, be back in 2 hours," Dad said, handing me $30.

"Thanks, bye guys," I said as me and Johnnie walked out.

Its good to know my best friend is back with me.
