[CC's POV]

The next morning I went to check on the boys and walked in to see Cayden and Johnnie fast asleep and cuddling, Callie between them at the foot of the bed.

I smiled a bit seeing that Cayden looked calm, and kind of figured something, but didn't really jump to conclusions. They've been friends since before preschool if I'm right, so I can understand if they are this close.

Then I remembered Cayden's 17th birthday was coming up.

Maybe have a party for him, invite some of his friends from home. I know he mentioned an Alex, and I'm sure Johnnie and Bryan know some people.

I decided to let them sleep in and make some breakfast for myself as Callie jumped down from the bed and followed me.

I went ahead and made some bacon and eggs, though I'm sure since I'm a shitty cook either Cayden's gonna cook or I'll just end up taking the three of us to iHop.

[Cayden's POV]

I groaned as I smelled something burning, and looked around, then saw Johnnie slept next to me.

I blushed a bit, then remembered last night and sighed.

I don't think I'd be feeling so well this morning if Johnnie wasn't here.

I continued to smell burned food and decided we should wake up.

"Johnnie," I mumbled, shaking him. "Wake up."

He only mumboed something in his sleep before curling up into a ball.

I couldn't help but laugh a little. It was kind of cute.

"Johnnie, come on, its almost the afternoon," I said.

He only mumbled something else, then rolled over and off the bed, yelping as he hit the ground.

"Johnnie!" I shouted, looking over as I saw he sat up, rubbing his head.

"Owwww..." he whined as I climbed down and rushed to him.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

"Yeah, but I hit my head," He said as he rubbed his head.

"Its okay," I said as I rubbed his head and he relaxed a bit.

He looked up at me, blushed, then looked down.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"N-Nothing," he mumbled.

I smiled at his shyness and hugged him. "No need to be shy about a bump in the head, Johnnie."

He looked up shyly and nodded, forcing a smile. "Okay."

I smiled. "Come on, before my dad burns down the kitchen."

He laughed as I helped him up and we headed out the room just to hear thr smoke alarm go off and ran into the kitchen, seeing my dad dumped some burnt food into the garbage disposal as smoke filled the room.

Johnnie got a magazine and chair to fan out the air to shut down the smoke alarm.

I ran to turn on the garbage disposal as my dad dumped the food.

Once that was done and Johnnie shut down the smoke alarm, my dad dumped the pot in the sink.

"Thanks, guys," he said.

"No problem," Johnnie said as he got down.

"Okay, so... iHop or Denny's?" he asked.

We laughed and just decided to go out to eat.
