➳ Chapter 58 - Josefina Chloe Mora

[Cayden's POV]

We were in the empty waiting room of the maternity ward. Shannon, Tyler and Alex stopped by, and Andy and Juliet managed to arrive here on time (but I'm still trying to process what the heck Andy did to his hair).

Johnnie was still asleep and curled on a seat next to me, his head on my lap as he cured up with the pillow he grabbed, my grandparents next to me, everyone either waiting for any news or catching up on sleep.

It didn't take long for my Dad to come out, holding a little pink bundle and everyone stood up, waking up someone else as Shannon tried to wake up Johnnie, pulling him up to help me stand.

"Well?" Inna asked.

He smiled as he walked over. "Everyone, meet the new member of the BVB and Mora family," He spoke.

We all smiled and rushed over to look into the pink bundle at the sleeping little baby.

"Oh, she's precious," Alice smiled in awe as we all admired our new litle member... my little sister.

"She's so small," Andy smiled. "Kinda like Jinxx."

Jinxx elbowed Andy in the ribs as we all laughed, and Dad then looked at me.

"Cayden, you want to hold your baby sister?" Dad asked.

My eyes widen. "R-Really?"

He nodded as Papa and Grannudged me encouragingly.

I looked over and Dad gently placed her in my arms as she cooed in her sleep.

I couldn't help but chuckle a tiny bit as she then opened her eyes, revealing big dark brown eyes.

"Hey there... I'm your big brother,"I smiled as she cooed softly at me.

"What's her name?" Juliet asked.

Dad then smiled and reached over, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Her name is Josefina Chloe Mora," He said.

My eyes widen as I then looked at the baby in my arms, feeling tears in my eyes.

"Hannah thought she would want to honor your mother by naming your sister after her," he said.

I smiled as tears feel and I sniffled. Everyone awed and patted my back as Johnnie hugged me.

Dad leaned in and hugged is, being careful with Josefina as I cried a little.

"Hey, come on toughen up. You gonna start crying in front of your little sister?" He laughed, his palm on my cheek wiping my tears with his thumb.

I laughed as I looked down at my new little sister.

"Welcome to the family, Josefina," I smiled.

"What about Hannah?" Inna asked. "Is she okay?"

"Yeah, she is. She's resting up right now, and I should probably get baby Josie here back," Dad said as I carefully hand him Josefina back. "Anyone wanna come?"

"We'll go," Jake said, motioning to him and Inna.

"Me, too," Ashley smiled.

"Dibs!" Shannon and Alex chimed in unison.

"Of course, grandparents get to see as well," Gran smiled, standing next to me.

"Me and Juliet should head back since we got a show tomorrow. We were only able to find a back and forth flight," Andy said.

"The rest of us can wait so it won't be so crowded," Jinxx said.

"Alright then. Be back soon," Dad said, turning, but then stopped and turned to Andy with scrunched eyebrows.

"We're you trying to look like John or something?" ge asked, pointing at his platinum hair, everyone burst out laughing, a few even almost collapsing as Andy pursed his lips.

"I was in the middle of re-dying when Cayden called us!! We dropped everything and ran!!" he protested.

"Bro, I'm sorry, it came out pretty bad," Ashley snickered.

"You know what, fuck you guys," he pouted as he stormed off and we kept laughing.

"Congrats, CC. We'll be back soon to enjoy more time," Juliet smiled as said our goodbyes and they left.

Whoever volunteered to go see Hannah followed CC while everyone else sat down to wait.

We entered to find Hannah asleep in bed, who then shifted and woke up, smiling at everyone.

"Hey," she murmured softly. "I can see Baby Josie got to know her family."

"Yeah, babe, you should be asleep," CC said, gently placing Josie in a nearby bassinet.

"I did, but I really just want to see her again," she smiled.

I smiled and walked to her side. "How are you feeling?"

"Sore," she shrugged. "But I'll live. What do you think of your new bby sister?"

"She's beautiful," I smiled.

She smiled as we shared a hug and spent the rest of the morning admiring Josie before eveeeryone had to go. Me and my grandparents stayed while Johnnie decided to head to my place with Shannon, Tyler, and Alex.

Soon we all decided to get some well deserved sleep.
