➳ Chapter 34 - Appreciation Party

[Cayden's POV]

It was soon the day of the party and me and Johnnie left on my motorcycle 4 hours before the party was starting.

He always gets scared riding it, ends up clinging to me for dear life, which to be honest, I found pretty cute.

Though he hates it when I do wheelies on this thing so I rather not give my boyfriend a heart attack before the party starts.

My dad had a date with Hannah so I'm gonna just be sleeping over at the Bryan's apartment tonight.

We soon arrived and I park in the apartment garage. I cut the engine, feeling Johnnie's arms were coiled tightly around my waist, and look back to see Johnnie's eyes clenched shut.

I couldn't help but chuckle at how cute he was, but he was crushing my ribcage.

"Johnnie, we stopped, you can let go now. I need to breathe," I laughed.

He opened one eye to check his surroundings, and sighed with relief. "Thank god."

I chuckled and helped him climb down, stealing a quick kiss to make him blush, before we walk out the parking lot and up to the apartment, Johnnie unlocking the door.

"We're here!!" He called out.

"Yay!! Cayden, we meed your tallness here!!" Shannon called out.

I laughed and tossed the bag aside before me and Johnnie headed over to see Shannon trying to put up a AVOCADO PARTY banner with Jeydon.

Kyle and Bryan blew some balloons, Alex and Jordan curling some streamers, and Tyler and Robby and were getting the snack tables ready.

"I'll help with the banner," I laughed as I pulled off my jacket and went over to help, Johnnie helping with food

A few friends were distracting Damon while we got everything set.

Soon everything was ready and we all hid once a friend of Damon's texted Bryan and told them they arrived and we're coming.

Everyone had cameras set to record his reaction.

Soon the door opened and they walked in.

"Jason, I can't see where I'm going," Damon's voice laughed.

"Just trust us," A British voice laughed.

Soon we saw the silouette of three people at the door and motioned to Shannon who was near the lights.

She turned them on and we jumped out as the guy covering Damon's eyes, moved his hands.

"SURPRISE!!!" We all shouted as Damon's eyes widen.

"Whoa!! What is all this?" he asked.

"We just wanted to show you that we do appreciate you, and you're our best friend," Bryan smiled.

"We love you, buddy," Jordan smiled.

Damon smiled shyly. "Guys, t-thabk you."

"Group hug!" another of his friends, I think his name is Vincent, said and we all gathered to hug him.

"Alright, now, let's party!!" Kyle shouted and we all cheered as Shannon turned on the music.

We all danced and ate and had a good time, and the younger ones slipped a few alcoholic drinks here and there, but not enough to get us wasted.

I curled up with Johnnie on the couch, and I saw a few people got drunk and fell asleep on the ground or was playing some sort of video game or laughing out in the balcony.

"I'm tired," Johnnie said.

I looked down at him. "Yeah?"

He nodded and nuzzled into my neck.

"Then let's get out of here for a bit," I said, and we got up and headed to his room.

We got in and closed the door as he laid back on the bed as I climbed in next to him.

He smiled and leaned up and kissed my lips.

I kissed him back as he then wrapped his arms around my neck and I pulled him on top of me.

"Cayden?" Johnnie mumbled as he kissed, a tiny moan escaping from him.

"Hmm?" I asked as we kissed.

What he said next surprised me.

"Can we... y-you know... do it?"
