With the spring air turning warmer, June approached with a summer break incoming.
"Come on, rinnie! Please!?! Please!?! I promise I won't bother you!" Miko said holding her hands together, pleading with Rin to let her join him at practice.
"No."
"Come on! Please, Rin! I've been at all your games, why can't I join you at practice?"
"It's because he gets mouthy with everyone at practice." A new voice joined in. Miko looked up to see beautiful, black hair girl with stormy grey eyes. Inko Ego, sister of Jinpachi Ego. Ego was also the soccer coach and principal of the school. Inko was a complex person, she was a standoffish person but once you actually got to know her, she was really sweet even if she was still tsundereish. She has been Rin's only friend for years and was always kind to Miko, even from an early age. She saw her a bit like an older sister.
(A/N this a character from my other book *cough Blue Lock hater cough* I encourage you to check it out, but you don't have too ❤)
"Well, that's no different," Miko said with a giggle and Inko cracked a smile. "Rin. Please. As your younger sister, I say I join you at practice and afterwards we walk to get ice cream!"
Rin stared at her with annoyance. Before sighing heavily. Miko squealed and hugged him tightly, "Thank you, Rinnie!"
"You know, I didn't say you could go." Rin mumbled, letting Miko hang off of him. He stared at Inko as she snickered as him, before locking hands with someone else and walking away.
"Yes, but I'm going! I'm your biggest supporter Rin; I'm always going to be there!" Miko said fixing the button on his uniform. She smiled as she followed after him like a lost puppy, barely able to keep up with his fast pace.
Miko was so proud of Rin, of course she would be, he was her brother. But she really did mean it, she has always been Sae's and Rin's biggest admirers, and she really did love them. She wanted nothing more to always be there for them because as their sister, it was her job to always support them!
Once they got to the field, Miko found a seat to watch from and waved down to her friends happily.
Kurona tilted his head up in seeing her, "Rin finally let me come to practice with him!" Miko said with excitement.
Miko considered Kurona her best friend, outside of Rin, and they always enjoyed each other's company. He could always understand her like no one else and their love of sharks made their bond even stronger.
"Yes, yes," Kurona said excitedly, "Come over after practice, practice?"
"I would but I forced Rin to get ice cream with me, we can always call?" Miko said leaning over the bars to talk to him. He frowned as the coach called him back and he waved goodbye to her.
She felt like a giddy child in a candy store as she watched. Yes, Rin was mean to the other players sometimes, but that wasn't going to stop her from being his biggest fan. Thankfully, all those rants about soccer paid off because she watched the plays and began to understand how some of them worked. Although it did make her head hurt concentrating so much and analyzing every move.

Miko sighed as she landed on her fluffy bed and quickly cuddled up to one of her many stuffed animals. Summer break was just two days away and she had no idea what they were going to do. She wondered if she could bribe Rin into joining her friends at the beach. The only downside to that he might get overprotective and force her to wear some really ugly swimsuit. But he also needs to get out more and get more friends.
