"Okay," Sonya called through her ear piece. "Let us know when the targets are in range, Melina."

She and Cassie had been in position for hours. After the widows had left for the gym, Sonya had let them into their shared duplex. Reminding Cassie that it wasn't breaking and entering since she in fact did not break anything. It was just entering. "Da. I do not have eyes on them."

"This is so exciting," Cassie said from her position near the back door.

"Baby bug. We have been over this. You need to stay aware at all times. These women are very dangerous."

"I am," they could practically hear the eye roll. "I remember the lectures from this morning that you and my dad gave me. Then Alexei. And again in the truck on the way here. Stay aware and be safe. Follow your lead and do not under any circumstances do anything stupid. Did I get it right?"

"Almost. You forgot the part where I will personally kill you if you get yourself hurt."

"So," Cassie was smirking, "you do care about me. Maybe we could be joint maids of honor for Yelena."

"And all the care and concern just flew into the door."

"I don't think that's the saying," Cassie was about to add more when Melina came through.

"All right. The targets are in sight. Do the two of you have the counter agents?"

"Da," Sonya had hers in an easily accessible pocket in her suit. "Bug?"

"Yes. And I can reach it fast. We've been over this."

Sonya sighed, loudly so everyone would hear her, "so cocky. You better show out for this. Remember your sparring techniques."

Cassie wouldn't admit that she was pretty scared. She wasn't until the truck ride when Melina and Sonya started talking about the level five widows. "I said I'm good so im good. Drop it."

"Testy little thing," Melina was heard barely above a whisper. Cassie could hear Melina cocking her gun, "they are pulling up around back."

"I guess that's me," Cassie swallowed her nerves.

"Switch with me," Sonya called over the ear piece. "It's fine. I've got it."

"Too late," Cassie moved behind the door so the element of surprise would be on her side.

"Sonya's been shot," Melina met Yelena and Kate outside of the compound.

Kate watched as all the color drained from Yelena's face at the news, "is she."

"She's alive but it does not look good."

Yelena turned and shook her head at Kate before taking off and following Melina into the compound.

"Looks like I'm not the only in the dog house," Natasha joined Kate.

"What's going on?" Jen's concerned mother voice entered the picture.

"Sonya's hurt. Shot. Melina said it doesn't look good."

"And you are blaming yourself," Jen had known the archer long enough to figure out where her head was.

"Yelena certainly is. Did you see the look she just gave me?"

"She's probably just worried about her partner," Peter didn't sound too confident.

"If I wouldn't have left, she never would've come after me and Sonya wouldn't be in this situation."

"Look kid," first Jen's motherly voice then Clint stepped up with his fatherly instincts, "you don't know the entirety of the situation yet. The doctors there are amazing. Plus, she can't be too mad at you. You brought her sister back."
