The next morning, Freen awoke with a sense of resolve. Holding Becky close, he knew he couldn't let Mike's threats hang over them any longer. His mind was set: it was time to end this chapter, once and for all.

As they gathered in the living room, Freen's friends noticed the determined look on his face. Nam, sensing what he was about to say, nodded. "You're ready to end this, aren't you?" she asked.
