Later that night, the sense of freedom lingered in the air, and Freen's mansion was filled with lighthearted laughter. Everyone was relieved that Mike was finally behind bars, and for the first time, they felt they could truly relax.
As the celebration continued, Becky found herself quietly observing everyone, a soft smile on her face. Freen noticed her standing by the window and came up behind her, wrapping his arms around her shoulders. "Hey, Princess," he murmured. "What's going on in that beautiful mind of yours?"
She leaned back into his chest, looking up at him with a sweet innocence. "It's just... it feels so surreal, you know? All this—us, your friends, the way everyone has each other's backs. I've never really had that before, except with Irin."
Freen tightened his hold on her. "Well, you have all of us now. And you'll never have to face anything alone again." He leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. "Besides, I don't plan on ever letting you go."
Just then, Nam called out from across the room, "Hey, lovebirds! Come join us! We're playing 'Truth or Dare,' and nobody gets to sit out!"
Becky's eyes sparkled with curiosity, and Freen chuckled. "All right, let's go," he said, taking her hand as they joined the group gathered on the floor.
The game started off with silly dares and lighthearted questions, but as it progressed, the atmosphere grew warmer and more relaxed. When it was Becky's turn, Nam grinned mischievously. "Becky, truth or dare?"
Becky, always the innocent one, hesitated but chose, "Truth."
Nam smirked. "All right, tell us—what was the exact moment you realized you liked Freen?"
Becky blushed deeply, casting a shy glance at Freen, who was watching her with an amused smile. "Um... I think it was when he got hurt and I was taking care of him. He looked so vulnerable and gentle... like a big, grumpy teddy bear."
Everyone laughed, including Freen, who leaned in and whispered, "A grumpy teddy bear? Really?"
She giggled, shrugging playfully. "Yes! But the cutest teddy bear ever."
As the game went on, it was Freen's turn, and Kade immediately took the opportunity to ask, "Freen, truth or dare?"
Freen raised a brow and smirked. "Dare."
Kade's eyes sparkled with mischief. "We dare you to carry Becky around the house while declaring your undying love for her."
Freen didn't hesitate. He scooped Becky up into his arms, causing her to squeal with surprise. Without missing a beat, he began strolling through the living room, his voice carrying the words, "Princess, you are the light in my life, the warmth of my soul, and the one I want to be with forever!"
Becky giggled and blushed, wrapping her arms around his neck. She couldn't believe how bold he was, yet she felt safe, happy, and loved in his embrace.
Everyone cheered, whistling and clapping as Freen carried her back to the group. When he set her down, they shared a long, tender look, lost in each other's eyes.
As the night wore on, they all settled down, sharing stories, laughter, and quiet conversations. Becky leaned against Freen, who wrapped an arm protectively around her shoulders, feeling content and at peace.
As the evening mellowed into night, the group settled into cozy conversation, laughter filling the mansion as they shared memories, dreams, and inside jokes. Freen, with his arm still around Becky, was quieter than usual, content to simply observe the light in her eyes and listen to her laugh. But when Becky spoke about her life with Irin in their small apartment, Freen felt a surge of protectiveness, knowing he wanted to be her family now.
