3: Surprises

Parita leads me to the Caribbean...wow it was so obvious that Tortuga should be in the Caribbean...I was so stupid.

"Don't say that"
"Don't say what?" I asked confused
"You are not stupid"
"You can read my mind? "
"Well only if two creatures have a special connection between them...wait...I can read your mind?"

I start think of water

"Water?"
"Oh my gosh, you surley can wow..."
"Does it work for long distance?"
"Right now I know as much as you do"

*In like 10 more minutes we'll get there.
*ok Parita.

As I peak out from the water I see a dull melancholy port. All, dark and gloomy. Nothing compared to the movie.

"I agree"
"Should we get out?"
"Yeah"

We get out checking that no one is there. When our tails have transformed into legs we start walking around. There's a sign saying

TORTUGA
BEWARE, THEFT AND HORROR

That's a strange sign.

"look there"

Parita points towards a collapsed building.

*look at this dagger.

I look and it is a table with a dagger and piece or paper stabbed through it. Parita takes the dagger out and I take the paper it says:

Your blood can do many things,
With this dagger,
You are seeking adventure,
No wonder your here
So think wisely and your
Questions will be answered.

"That's simple"
"What?"
"The thing on the paper, basically it says put your blood on this dagger."
"And how do you know that?"
"Lets say I am good with riddles"

Lets go with it

*you're doing it know!?
*why not, I dont want to wait forever

And there it goes, a cut on my finger and I put my blood on the blade.

Suddenly all goes black...

Parita's POV
She just collapsed after that prick without hesitation I quickly did what she done, and blackness, why is there always blackness.

Starlight's POV
When I wake up its dark, warm and me and Parita are lying on the ground. I look around and see lamps, and music coming from a pub?

I'm slowly dragged towards it, I always drawn into music.

I hear Parita calling my name but I carry on walking towards the music.

I walk through the door and see people drinking rum, dancing and singing, everybody was literally having fun. At the look of this place I smile.

Suddenly Parita enters the place and looks around,

*this is dangerous

"Its wonderful"
"We have to find Jack Sparrow"
"Captain...Captain Jack Sparrow"

"Okay, you go the left side and I go to the right side. Okay?"
"Sure"

And she rushed off.

As I said, I walk towards the right and start to look around...I see and realize that the people are dressed excatly like in the movie, also the dances, but what I see new is a wooden small stage with a band playing. On the guitar, a simple drum set, and other instruments.

I slowly turn and see a little area where most of the drinks are served in cups. I start towards that direction, but what gets me out of my way, is that someone grabbed my hand and swiveled me around until I landed to right into the middle of the dancing area. And people start to dance and I'm there like a freak doing nothing.

"Hey, you, in the blue dress, DANCE" someone shouts.

And that's what I do, I start to dance like the people, getting the beat moving along my whole body down to my bare feet. And then turns, and everyone clapping to the beat. I never had such fun. Then a boy, looked 18-19? Had grabbed my hand, and the next dance was a energetic couple dance, I just agreed to the dance and he smiled. Then the song started. Both of us mirrored each other and started dancing, then he said

"Hey, I didn't catch your name" he said during dancing.
"I'm Sam-Starlight, and you"
"I'm Richard...but people...call me...Rich" he said catching his breathe.

"Well it's nice to meet you, Rich" and both of us smile and carry on dancing.

When the music stops me and Rich quickly run up to the bar where I wanted to be in the first place before I started dancing, and he orderd me a beer. When I got mine and said thanks and quickly drank it all. Apparently mermaids are immune to alcohol and there aren't any side effects so I didn't worry.

I turn around the place and see two men sitting at a table, one has dark brown hair and the other one has brown long dreadlocks and a pirate hat, sadly I can't see his face, but still walk towards him, unfortunately Rich grabs my arm,
"Before you go off, I want to say, I...had a great time...I never danced so energetically. Will I ever see you again?"

"Maybe, maybe not? Who knows how life will go, but all I need know is to meet somebody"
"Wait, I saw this and I didnt really know what to do with it so maybe you could take better care of it." and he hands me the dagger that I used to get here.

"Oh my, thank you, very much, it is beautiful, and you know what we should meet each other again, sometime soon, okay?"
"Yeah sure" We both smile and walk towards the two men that I saw.

And I as I walk round, it is him, it is really him...it is Captain...Jack Sparrow.

"Are you Jack Sparrow?"
"Captain, it's Captain Jack Sparrow, why does everyone forget" he answered.

My mouth drops open.

"Are you catching flies missy" says the man with brown hair.
"Are you Mr Gibbs?" I ask
"Yes indeed I am, and what does a girl like you do in a place like this"

"Well...I...needed Sparrow"
"Yes" Sparrow says
"What do you want?" Sparrow says
"I heard that you are a pirate tha-"

"Wait a second what do you have in your hand?" Gibbs asked
