Why do you want to fit in so bad?
Your will never be one of them
You laugh the loudest, smile the biggest and try your hardest to not be awkward
Does it not pain your core, the things you do
A triangle squeezing into a circle
True friends to you is unheard of
You're the trophy of them
The one that's not wanted but needed for social acceptance
The one that must tiptoe and be careful
so, you smile
Dejected really
You don't even recognize the reflection in the mirror
The marks on your arm, for release not harm
You're not of this world, you're quite something more
So, you will never fit in
Father denied your existence
Mother hated your DNA
You'll never admit it
How you continue Searching for love in all the wrong places
Why do you want to fit in
You will never be one of them
You're quite something MORE
