~His Pov~

I continued to walk beside her. I hadn't said anything or hinted to where I was taking her to—But I knew she would enjoy it there... While I was completely lost in thought it took a few seconds for me to realize that she had fallen behind: Her eyes focus upon the towering buildings that were the cause of the delicate dancing shadows along the street that shielded us away from the sun's gaze, the sky that was slowly gaining a pale pink color that swirled with the dimming blue.

It seems that small light smile finds its way on my lip as I continued to look at how entranced she was with the view. I quickly brush it off—making sure that no trace of that smile remained as I walk towards her and tugged her arm

She seemed to snap out of her trance, looking at me with a pout in her eyes... "Alright I'm comiiing" She replied with a playful tone, taking a step ahead and soon falling into a slow pace walking ahead.

As she walked ahead I made sure to follow behind closely. My footsteps are quiet yet audible enough for her to be sure that I was right behind her. She tried starting conversations here and there but all I could do was simply hum in response or nod.. It's not like I didn't want to talk to her, nor is it like I'm doing it on purpose. I really enjoy her company—I just don't know how to reply so I just... listen.

Besides—I like listening to her bright gentle voice...

We had stopped at a spot at the end of the park.. I wanted to snap a picture to keep a memory of the view, so I took my phone out to take a picture. She ran ahead though.. When I turned to the direction she went my eyes were fixated on her figure...

She was crouched down, bought two flower crowns from one of the vendors there offering more than what she needed to pay for and had given the kid that was with the vendor a small pouch of sweets.. It reminded me of that moment back at the coffee shop just a few hours prior...

I spaced out at that moment. She was too kind, too sweet, too caring... It was unbelievable that a person like her could exist—exist in a world that would spare nothing to tear a soul as perfect as hers.

I snapped out of those thoughts when I felt something placed upon my head: It was the flower crown she had bought... I was just about to reach up and take it off but her hand reached up and guided mine away from it—then she pulled me back to walk beside her.

"Huh..?"

"Don't take that off okay? If you do I'll kill you"

I chuckled lightly at her comment and nodded as we continued to walk

—-----------—

Eventually we arrived to the place just at the right moment.

It was at the end of the town.

At the end of the dozen cherry trees growing.

At the end of the busy life within the city.

Her eyes held a bright spark—captivated by the beauty right in front. She walked ahead her eyes were fixated on the soft gentle waves brushing up against the shore, I followed her walking on the sand and watched her as she carefully stepped on the sand.

~Your Pov~

Giyu had taken you to the beach that was at the end of town. You haven't really been here, in truth you didn't even know it was here since you were always pent up in the house or just going to the coffee shop reading.

Other than that you just.. go for groceries or buy more books, or borrow books from libraries reading them, fantasizing about late night walks, ballroom waltz or just having someone to hug you.

You didn't even know a place as beautiful as this existed.. A place that words wouldn't describe properly.

But this.. it makes those scenes in those books a reality

You walk closer towards the water, as the waves came to the shore you could feel the water gently tickling your feet.

Two hands rest on your shoulder as you smiled happily looking at the waves that faded to shore. "Thanks for bringing me here" You said knowing fully well who was right behind you.

He hummed in response as he was tying your hair up so it wouldn't be blown by the wind. He probably had a hair tie between his mouth so that's why he couldn't reply with words.

Your hair was tied up in a messy bun as you slowly felt his hands leave from where they rested on your shoulders.

You were spacing out for a few minutes, drinking in the beauty of the view as the sky above was beginning to turn into a beautiful golden-orange hue blanketing to the world below with a soft honey glow but when you realized his hands weren't on your shoulders you turned around.

He was taking a picture of you..

As soon as he noticed you looking he quickly hid his phone away acting like nothing had happened. He walked towards you and stood to your right: his ocean blue eyes trained to stare at the breathtaking sight.

The sun was beginning to take his place hiding behind the beauty that is the moon, as the blue sky slowly turned to a deep blue color that matched his hues the night would slowly make way for the stars to shine bright.

His eyes... they weren't just quiet. They reflected the gleaming stars above as if the night sky was his own eyes.

"Y/N.."

It was the first time he's actually said your name..

You turn towards him and was met with a boy giving a small bow as he offered his hand for you to take. You gladly put your hand into his, your fingers intertwining fitting perfectly with each other as you walked along the ocean shore.

"You'll walk me home right?"

"Of course"

Your small smile grew slightly as both of you continued to enjoy the majesty of the moment— leaving a trail of footprints behind that the waters will shortly wash away to allow a new story to unfold upon its shores.

If only time would stop this second...

If only... It would permit us to indulge in this moment.
