I have been slacking when it comes down to the ByDaphne storefront which I am looking to shut down permanently. Marcia and I have been scouting locations for a new flagship store that will embody everything that my brand is now.

 We have narrowed it down to two locations with one that has a view of the sea and another that is on a popular street. The rent for both places is exceptionally high but these are the times of today and I am willing to invest in the property with the intent to buy.

"What is the plan?" Marcia asks me as I look around my current store which I have shut down for the hour.

"Rebranding." I tell her straight and she nods her head in understanding. "The website has been completely rebranded along with the name change so I want to bring that change to the store. The one storey look has been great but I want a two or three storey building with a mezzanine floor overlooking everything."

"Which location appealed more to you?"

I grimace, "The sea view one appealed to me more as it will bring in more light with those floor to ceiling windows and create that magical feel especially when we decorate for the holidays. Having a store on Rodeo Drive sounds amazing on paper but the rent is crazy expensive and I don't know how many of our customers will come there when you have all the big brands already sitting on that street."

"Right." Marcia rubs her lips together. "I think the one that you're referring to is the better one and it's in an amazing location with a decent amount of parking space."

"I need to get back to being consistent with my brand and making sure that I am attracting the right consumers who will come back." I run a hand through my hair while looking around the store. "This store was a good stepping stone but I have evolved since I first launched my brand and renovated this property. That is something that I want to show with my new building and I want us to do things right."

"And I will be there every step of the way."

"Thanks Marcia." I give my older sister a side hug. "Anyways, I'm going to need my interior designer and business partner to help me through this."

Her eyes light up at my words, "You want to make me a partner?"

"You've been here helping me this entire time, it's about time that I made you an official partner." She lets out a scream that makes me laugh before she jumps into my arms. "I'll have to fax you the documents and everything to make things official."

"OH MY GOD!" Marcia bursts into tears as I set her down and I laugh a little. "You have literally made me the happiest woman alive."
