Beep...Beep...Beep...
BEEEEEEP!
Subin instantly flew backwards. Wooin in his usual fashion didn't lose one second after the start of the fight was announced to hit his opponent and like Jisuk before her, she wasn't expecting the attack. Us, spectators sheepishly looked like we were expecting such a thing to happen again. My white haired friend absolutely enjoying Subin's fate, exploded in laughter .Afterwards, Jisuk kept praising him for taking down Subin and Mr.Park announced Wooin's win :
- Stop right there, Wooin won.
-But he only hit me once when I let my guard down!
-Don't you realize that one unguarded moment could take your life? The fight is over.
Wooin witnessing Subin's frustration declared that he also wanted to fight again. Mr.Park tried stoppeing him but nothing could change the tall teen's mind. Subin looked pleased with Wooin's spirit and got in a fighting stance again. A second fight would have started had it not been for Jiwoo's intervention. He called out:
- Hum, Subin?
-What!? Stop talking to me , we are not friends!
-No, it's just that your nose is bleeding...
-What?
It was certainly true. Her two nostrils let out long bloody red trails which were now dripping on her shirt. This scene broke the last string holding Jisuk's sanity and for the following minutes, only his laugh and Subin's shut ups were heard in the gym. I let out a few contained chuckle. I turned around to hide my giggle at the situation to not hurt my maybe first girl friend's pride. The adults, Wooin and Jiwoo looked at the chaos like they didn't know wether to laugh or cry. A few moments later, she wiped the blood and turned back towards wooin, ready. This time, they actually got serious and Subin managed to avoid Wooin sudden projectile. Like I felt the other day, her power had to do with the cold. She spew out a few ice shards in the black haired's direction. He too had to dodge which interrupted his constant onslaught of hits. Ice shards surrounded her as she walked closer to him but Wooin succeeded at exploding the shards mid-air with his telekinesis. We couldn't see clearly how he did it, but my guess is that he surrounded them with it and squeezed the pieces. It looks like a simple process but actually is quite complicated to apply on so many elements. I let out an impressed whistle. Now that I think about it, I never fought against the black haired boy. I wonder what kind of strategy would take him down? I started analyzing his posture which seemed relaxed but was actually ready to avoid any attack. Then, I focused on his energy which was surrounding him and ready to take any form he wanted. While I curiously imagined different scenarios that could happen if my powers clashed against his, the battle intensified. The goth now created a dagger out of ice and attacked Wooin close distance. She deflected most of Wooin's attacks with ice shields and kept leaving cuts with her dagger. Ice really is a polyvalent attribute, she can fight long, mid and short distance with it. Both offensively and defensively. I am getting kind of jealous. Wooin took a knee, his injuries bleeding profusely. Still, I didn't get as worried as my brother beside me. Jisuk let out:
- Are you kidding me, Wooin? When we were fighting you were much stronger what are you doing?
- I was figuring her out.
-Subin, you better do this right. Even I don't bullshit when I am fighting with him.
Indeed, I wasn't worried for that exact reason. I could feel that he still had energy left. Enough to take her down if he played his cards right. The robot-ish teen got back up, letting out an even fiercer aura than before. Subin said in reply:
- Okay I got why that idiot Jisuk raved about you now.
-What who was raving about who!?
I answered:
