They had been on dragonstone for just a few days when Daenys managed to get past her guards and into the dragon mount.

As she walked around, she chirped as if to let the other dragons know she was here. Most greeted her with chirps or grumbles as she passed walking towards a of the dragon mount that called for her. She slowed her approach as she heard a low growl. But she didn't stop she kept walking, and then she was suddenly engulfed in flames, earning a screech in protest as her clothes were burnt off of her again.

When the flame went out, she stood there scowling at the dragon. A huge dragon that was said to have been one of the last from Old Valyria. Many believed the other dragons didn't like him not only because he would kill and eat other dragons but because he was also different. Instead of having just two legs, he had four. He was as large as Vhagar with scales as black as Vantablack and eyes as red as blood. He had spikes covering her head and down his spine, and his talons were like spears, and he was covered in scars from the fights he had been in. He was truly a sight, and Daenys loved it.

When he saw she was unharmed, he lowered his head to look at her closely. When he saw her red eye that matched his own and the wings that were black red and gold, he stepped closer to her, sniffing her. When he didn't do anything other than that, Daenys held up her hand and chirped at him, trying to talk to him. And he let her touch him. With that, she chirped, and he replied with a low pur to her. She turned around and spread her wings and made her way out of the mount to the sky with cannibal following close behind.

When Rhaenyra heard the roar of a dragon and the shake of the ground, she ran out to see her daughter being followed by the large dragon, causing her to almost faint in fear, before she saw her daughter land on his back and he seemed not to mind.

When she landed with the cannibal she petted him and chirped at him before leaving back to the castle. When she entered, she was held by her mother, who told her how proud she was to see her daughter make friends with the other dragons.

As they sat having dinner, the maester came in with a letter handing it to Rhaenyra.

When Rhaenyra read it, she passed it over to Laenor, looking sad. She dismissed her sons to pack as Laenor started to cry over the loss of his sister. This caused Daenys to approach him slowly and try to hug him only for him to push her away and leave the room. Rhaenyra got to her daughter quickly and held her.

"Oh, my dear girl, he did not mean it. He is just upset, is all." She told her gently as Daenys whimpered and held onto her mother.

Rhaenyra had the maids pack for herself and Daenys, knowing she wouldn't want to let go as she was, hurt by the man she thought as a father and didn't want to leave her mother.

~the ship~

As the boat left for Driftmark Rhaenyra, he worried about what her uncle would think of their daughter. Would he love her like she does? Will he think she is a freak like some do? Would he be happy about having another daughter?

Her trail of thinking was cut off by the boat being engulfed in a dark shadow. Looking up, she could see her and her sons dragons along with her daughter friend flying over head and smilled. Her daughter was truly the blood of the dragon.

Rhaenyra looked to her daughter, who lay in her lap fast asleep, her wings moving ever so slightly to show she was dreaming of flying, and that caused a smile to form on her lips.

Through the whole ride there, she slept cuddling her mother while her brothers morned. Jace was morning Ser Harwin his, Luke and joffs true father while Luke morned an auntie he never knew.
