Jordan's POV:
The sound of rain tapping against the window filled the room, blending with the muffled breaths of Dave as he lay motionless on the table. His chest rose and fell weakly, his body bound tightly with ropes and layers of tape. His once piercing eyes, now nothing but hollow sockets, bled endlessly.
The blade in my hand glinted under the dim light, still dripping with his blood.
I leaned in closer, my voice low but steady.
"Wake up, Dave. We're not done yet."
He groaned, barely conscious.
"Come on!"
I said, slapping his face lightly.
"I know you can hear me. Don't pass out on me now. I want you to hear every single word I'm about to say."
His body twitched, his breathing shallow, but he didn't respond.
I sighed, stepping back and pacing the room. The rain outside seemed to echo my frustration.
"Do you even realize what you've done? Do you even care? I trusted you. You were my best friend, Dave. My best friend! And yet, you went behind my back and slept with Patricia. My Patricia."
My voice cracked, but I steadied myself. I wasn't here to cry.
"You couldn't help yourself, could you? All those girls throwing themselves at you weren't enough? You just had to take what was mine, didn't you?"
I stopped pacing and turned to face him.
"You're so pathetic. You think you're untouchable because you're handsome? Because girls fall over your feet? Well, guess what, Dave. That charm of yours can't save you now."
He stirred slightly, a weak sound escaping his lips.
I tilted my head, watching him like a curious child examining a broken toy
"Do you know what's funny?"
I asked, my voice eerily calm.
"I always thought you were invincible. Untouchable. But look at you now. Pathetic. Weak. Bleeding all over my table."
Dave whimpered, his lips trembling.
I pressed a finger to his lips, smearing his blood across his face.
"Save your strength. We've got all night."
I leaned back in the chair, spinning the blade in my hand. The metallic glint was hypnotic, almost comforting.
"Do you know what I hate the most about you, Dave? It's not that you betrayed me. It's not even that you slept with Patricia. It's the fact that you thought I wouldn't notice."
I stood up abruptly, slamming the blade into the table beside his head. He flinched, his body jerking against the restraints.
"You underestimated me.."
I whispered, leaning down so my face was inches from his.
"You always thought I was the quiet one. The weak one. The one you could push around. But guess what, Dave? The quiet ones are the most dangerous."
I grabbed his chin, forcing him to face me. His empty eye socket bled onto my hand, but I didn't care.
"Can you see me, Dave? Yes, of course, you can with your one eye! But I want you to imagine my face right now. I want it burned into whatever's left of that twisted little mind of yours."
