Author's pov:

Two days have passed since they last baked together. Abhimanyu and Shivani exchanged words only when necessary. Otherwise, he spent most of his time in his office, often coming home late. Shivani stayed awake until he returned but pretended to have come out for water when he arrived.

Shivani slowly began to develop a subtle crush on her husband, while Abhimanyu found himself drawn to her as well. Though he wanted to work on their marriage and give it a real chance, he couldn't bring himself to admit his feelings to her.

However, their path was far from simple. Abhimanyu had already complicated things by asking her to sign the agreement papers and accusing her of things she hadn't done, leaving a strain between them that wasn't easy to mend.

Abhimanyu was engrossed in his work when a knock on the door interrupted him. Without looking up, he granted permission for the person to enter.

Amith stepped inside promptly, holding a file, and beside him stood a woman in her mid-fifties.

Abhimanyu's gaze shifted from the file in his hands to the visitors. Recognizing that this must be significant-since Amith was well aware of his preference for silence unless absolutely necessary-Abhimanyu closed the file and placed it to the side. Leaning back in his chair, he gestured for the older woman to take a seat beside him.

"Sir, this is Seema Ji," Amith began, introducing the woman. "She has been working under Pratap Mehta for the past 30 years, and she knows Ma'am very well." Amit informed Abhimanyu.

"And this is the file you asked for. It has everything you needed," Amith said, handing the file to Abhimanyu.

As Abhimanyu asked for Shivani's Information, Amith worked on it and somehow he learnt that Seema ji and asked to come to the office.

Seema ji agreed to it because of Shivani. She can't deny Abhimanyu because he is Shivani's Husband.

" How is Shivani beti.." Seema ji asked him.

"I want to know everything about Shivani," Abhimanyu said to Seema Ji, his voice firm and his eyes unwavering. "You've worked there for nearly three decades, so you must have some idea about her. I want every single detail of her life."

"Why ?.. didn't Shivani mention anything to you?" Seema Ji asked, her gaze shifting nervously, not focusing on anything in particular.

"If she had, I wouldn't have called you here," Abhimanyu replied sharply.
