Author's pov:

As Shivani left the washroom she went to the dressing table and started to do her routine.

She was drying her hair with a towel when the door swung open, making her flinch, She turned to see her husband entering.

He stepped forward, his expression tense.

"Shivani, I... listen, I..." For the first time in his life, he struggled to find the right words.

Shivani frowned, waiting for him to continue, but he struggled to find his words.

"How are you feeling? How are your wounds? Should we see a doctor? Are you in pain?" His voice was soft, laced with concern.

But his words only fueled her anger.

"You don't need to worry, Mr. Rajvansh. I'm fine. In fact, I'm very happy you opened my eyes yesterday."

And these wounds..., uh, these wounds will get healed in days but what about my heart? " Shivani can't stop herself anymore, so she showered her questions and worries in front of him..

Hearing her words he taken back, he felt some pain in his heart after seeing her in pain, his eyes became soft, seeing her eyes filled with tears..

His hands moved to her cheeks to wipe those tears.. but she didn't want to feel his touch so she stepped back and stared at him..

He stopped his hand in the air when she stepped back..

" Sorry, for my actions Shivani, I know my words and actions hurt you, but trust me, whatever I did is in anger, and when I got to know the truth I.. I felt regret for my actions, sorry.. "

"You regret, ohh.. you are doing all this because you learnt the truth.. what if you don't know the truth and you keep believing them will you still say sorry.. no.. you won't..

You said it is because of anger right, you tell me honestly, is the behaviour towards your wife justified, you are a king and the king should listen to both sides of people but you..

You didn't hear me, and they kept allegations on me and you believed it..

For once you didn't find to think about me and my emotions.. in front of all you dragged me and accused me.." she said all those words that kept worrying her.. her chin wobbled and tears were falling from her eyes... her nose became red due sniffing..

He didn't know what to do so he hugged her tightly..

She hugged him back.. and cried her heart out..

She knew he was the one who hurt her and he is the one who can heal her.. his strong arms are giving her comfort and all the stress she is holding till now has vanished into thin air...

He hugged her tightly and she did the same..

After some time her sobs subsided and she cleaned her nose on his shirt and her eyes widened on what she did..

She immediately stepped back and Said..

" Sorry.. I didn't mean to spoil your shirt.. I.. " she said and kept her eyes down due to embarrassment...
