Prathaap Mehta is the Elder son of Mehta Family and also head of the village... It is like inheritance that is coming from generation to generation that mehta's are the head of the village. It's like... Their position is higher then Sarpanch... Even Sarpanch himself takes order from mehta's... Like they are Rich but not super Rich.. Although Shivani is Rich enough she never got the treatment of Princess, Instead everyone treats her like a servant...
But she never lose trust in herself, she worked hard to get little bit love and appreciation from her father... she used to do all the household work even though there are servants but her chachi used to tell her all the household work... By doing all the works she used to study parallely, managing both at the same time... Like that she completed her Bachelors and wanted to job and become Independent.. and then she wanted to do her masters as well... and get recognition in front of her father... So she took a lot of courage and went in front of her Father to talk about her job...
