NO ONE'S POV
It was already five in the afternoon, but Hans DeBourbon was still inside Nayeon's office.
The two of them were busy with their own businesses.
Nayeon, the CEO, sat at her desk, absorbed in her work, her fingers flying over the keyboard as she worked through a mountain of emails.
While Hans, the princess and a wealthy tycoon, was sprawled out on the couch across the room, fast asleep, snoring lightly.
Nayeon sighed.
She didn't mind the company, but she had a mountain of work to get through herself, and it was getting late.
As much as she hated to disturb Hans, she couldn't let her office turn into a lounge for the rich and famous.
She picked up the phone to call her secretary but paused, glancing over at the peaceful figure on the couch.
Hans had long legs, a body that seemed to take up half the room, and she was lying with them draped over the side of the couch, her feet hanging off the edge of the coffee table.
Just as she was about to stand up, Hans mumbled something in her sleep, and Nayeon froze, her attention momentarily drifting to the living area.
She had seen Hans sleep before, but this was different. Something about the way Hans lay there, vulnerable, almost childlike, caught Nayeon off guard.
She stared for a few minutes, memorizing the curve of Hans's jaw, the way her dark hair fell across her face.
There was something about her, something that made it impossible for Nayeon to look away.
'Stop it.' Nayeon told herself, blinking rapidly.
Focus.
She forced her eyes back to her desk, but it wasn't easy.
The image of Hans asleep, so careless and free, lingered in her mind.
After what felt like an eternity, Nayeon was jolted from her thoughts when Hans suddenly muttered something unintelligible.
"Hmm... What?" Hans groggily sat up, her eyes squinting as she looked around the room.
"Oh, shit! It's past five already? Damn!" Hans cursed as she scrambled to her feet, stretching and rubbing her eyes.
She glanced over at Nayeon, who hadn't moved from her desk.
"Oh, you're still here?" Hans asked, her voice a mix of surprise and amusement.
"Of course. This is my office. Where do you think I'm going?" Nayeon blurted as she raised an eyebrow.
Hans stared at her for a moment, then shrugged, a sheepish smile tugging at the corner of her lips.
"I just woke up and you're already yelling at me? What a surprise."
Nayeon snorted, rolling her eyes. She couldn't help it, Hans always had a way of making everything seem effortless, even if she was making a mess of things.
Without giving her a chance to respond, Hans suddenly stood up and made her way towards Nayeon's desk.
She moved with a casual confidence that made Nayeon's heart race for reasons she couldn't quite explain.
"I'll leave now." Hans said, leaning in closer, her breath warm against Nayeon's ear.
Before Nayeon could even react, Hans pressed her lips to Nayeon's, kissing her in a quick, soft motion.
