NO ONE'S POV (Part 2)

The alcohol was starting to take its toll on her, her head swimming with dizziness as she tried to focus on the swirling crowd.

She had already consumed more than enough drinks, and now, all she wanted was to escape the noise, the laughter, the overwhelming energy of the ballroom.

Her eyes wandered across the room, searching for someone to talk to anyone she know aside from her friends, who were deep in conversation with the DeBourbon family.

She felt like an outsider, unnoticed and alone, but she didn't care anymore.

She just needed this party to end.

She needed to sleep, to forget the ache in her chest, to stop feeling so damn stupid.

As she scanned the room, her gaze landed on something that made her stomach twist.

At the far corner of the ballroom, Hans was laughing, her smile radiant, as she chatted with Bae Irene, one of the most beautiful actress in South Korea and her sister's friend as well.

Irene's hand playfully slapped Hans' shoulder, and the two shared a moment of laughter that, to Nayeon, felt far too intimate.

'I hope both of you choke on your drinks!'

The thought escaped her lips, a bitter whisper she quickly swallowed back, but her irritation only grew.

She tried to look away, to ignore the scene before her, but her body betrayed her.

Her eyes refused to leave them, drawn back to Hans and Irene, as if some invisible force was pulling her in.

Nayeon clenched her jaw, watching as Hans threw her head back in laughter, that smile, the one that used to be reserved for her, lighting up her face.

Irene's touch on her shoulder only made the image worse.

Nayeon's chest tightened.

'Why does she smile like that with Irene?' Nayeon asked herself.

Her eyes narrowed, her gaze now a glare.

She couldn't tear her focus away from them, even though every part of her screamed to look elsewhere, to forget, to stop caring.

"They should leave and continue their flirting outside!" Nayeon blurted out, making her mom look at her with concern.

"Are you sure you're okay, honey? You've been murmuring nonstop," her mom asked, her voice full of worry as she gently touched Nayeon's shoulder.

"I'm fine, Mom. Really," Nayeon said, forcing a smile.

"Don't worry about me." She added.

Her mom didn't look convinced but nodded slowly, still watching her closely.

Nayeon sighed, hoping her mother would let it go.

When the R&B music switched to the upbeat, sexy song Go Harder by Twice, Nayeon suddenly stood up and walked toward her boyfriend.

She grabbed Sehun's hand, surprising him at first, but he quickly smiled and followed her to the dance floor.

As they reached the dance floor, surrounded by the other guests, Nayeon began to dance seductively, swaying her hips against Sehun's thigh.

He gulped several times, feeling a heat rise in him as beads of sweat appeared on her forehead.

He had never seen Nayeon act like this before.

She was usually so composed, so reserved.

This was the first time Sehun saw this side of her, and it left him both shocked and captivated.

As the song hit the chorus, Nayeon suddenly pressed her lips to Sehun's, cupping his face, while he wrapped his arms around her waist.

Their moment didn't go unnoticed.

Nayeon's friends stared in shock, their mouths hanging open, some of them even covering their mouths in disbelief.

They knew Nayeon wasn't the type to publicly show this wild side of herself.

Nayeon is a well-respected businesswoman, admired not only in her home country but also in the USA and Europe, known for her sharp mind and composure.

"She's already drunk! Look how she's stumbling on Sehun," Jeongyeon muttered under her breath, her eyes narrowing as she watched Nayeon swayed in Sehun's arms.

The others, noticing the same, nodded in agreement, a mix of surprise and concern on their faces.

"Should we drag her off the dance floor?" Momo asked innocently, tilting her head with genuine confusion.

The suggestion made the others pause and exchange looks, before giving her a collective glare.

"It's normal for a couple, Momo," Jihyo replied with a sigh, shaking her head.

"We shouldn't interfere. Let them be." She said and could feel the ache in her feet from standing too long, so she began heading back to their table, hoping the conversation would end there.

The group fell silent, watching the couple for a moment longer before returning to their table, though each of them couldn't help but feel a little surprised by Nayeon's unexpected behavior.

"Have you seen Hans unnie?" Lisa asked her younger sister, Dhayun, her eyes quickly scanning the room as she searched for their eldest sibling.

Tzuyu, sensing her sister's growing concern, casually pointed across the room.

"She's over there, talking to Bae Irene."

Lisa's heart skipped a beat, her worry deepening.

She didn't want Hans to see what was happening on the dance floor.

'I hope unnie didn't notice Nayeon and Sehun.' Lisa thought, biting her lip in anxiety.

She knew her sister, Hans, had feelings for Nayeon, though Hans had never openly admitted it.

It wasn't something they talked about, perhaps because it was a secret Hans kept hidden even from herself.

But Lisa wasn't blind. She could read her sister's every subtle shift in mood, every quiet sigh.

Hans had always been the quiet one, the one who didn't show her emotions easily.

Lisa knew all too well how deeply her sister cared, even if she never said a word.

And seeing Nayeon with Sehun so openly, so carefree, might be harder for Hans than anyone realized.
