CHAPTER 4 Mount Weather I
Madison holds her map against the dropship as she draws the route to Mount Weather.
Wells notices her and decides to walk towards her.
"We got problems. The communications system is dead. I went to the roof. A dozen panels are missing. Heat fried the wires", explains Wells to her.
She actually doesn't want to talk to him at all, but because this isn't the Ark anymore and everyone here has to survive, she does.
"Well, all that matters right now is getting to Mount Weather. See? Look. This is us. This is where we need to get to if we want to survive", she points to her map as she explains everything it Wells.
"Where did you learn to do that?", asks Wells curious.
Her best friend.
Madison doesn't answer that question.
Then a boy walks towards them from behind.
"Ah, cool, a map. They got a bar in this town? I'll buy you a beer", the boy smiles.
Madison and Wells both turn around, towards him.
"You mind?", asks Wells as he grabs the boy's arm and pulls him away from them both.
"Hey, hey, hey, hands off of him. He's with us", Murphy walks towards them with a group of boys behind him.
Wells immediately let's go of the boy when he notices Murphy walking towards him.
Wells is of course afraid of Murphy. That boy doesn't know how to stop.
"Relax. We're just trying to figure out where we are", explains Wells a little nervous as Murphy stands down in front of him.
Bellamy notices that something is going on and immediately walks over.
"We're on the ground. That not good enough for you?", asks Bellamy as he and some other teenagers step closer to them.
"We need to find Mount Weather. You heard my father's message. That has to be our first priority", explains Wells to everybody.
"Screw your father. What, you think you're in charge here, you and Madison Cameron?", asks a random girl in the crowd bitchy.
Madison rolls annoyed her eyes at her comment.
She doesn't enter into a discussion because she doesn't want it to get completely out of hand.
"Do you think we care who's in charge? We need to get to Mount Weather not because the Chancellor said so, but because the longer we wait, the hungrier we'll get and the harder this'll be", Clarke Griffin speaks for Madison, as if she is standing up for her.
