CHAPTER 9
control

Wells sighs in frustation when he hears the teenagers shouting. They are fighting over clothes, food and drinks. Wells would like to share with everyone, but they are too selfish, so he can't.

He picks up a pile of clothes from the ground of the two boys who died from the landing and whom he buried.

He walks towards the dropship with the clothes, but then Atom steps towards him.

"Buried the two kids who died during the landing", Wells tells him as he holds the clothes tightly in his hands. Afraid he's going to take it from him.

"Smart. You know, I'll take it from here. There's always a market for...", Atom says as he tries to pull the clothes out of his hands, but Wells holds on tight so Atom can't do it.

He would like to share, but with these teenagers he can't.

"We share based on need, just like back home", Wells says and he holds Atom away from him.

Then Bellamy walks out of the dropship shirtless.

"You still don't get it, do you, Chancellor?", asks Bellamy annoyed.

He puts his belt around his pants as he spoke.

Wells' attention goes down to his hip and he notices Bellamy has a gun half down his pants. The back of the his gun sticks out above his pants.

"This is home now. Your father's rules no longer apply", Bellamy smirks and grabs a shirt out of Wells' hands from the pile of clothes.

Wells wants to walk up to him to take the shirt back, but Atom stops him.

"Oh, no, no, Atom. Atom, hold up. You want it back? Take it", Bellamy says.

They both stare angrily into each other's eyes.

Wells sniffs and then throws the pile of clothes on the ground.

The teenagers immediately run towards it and grabs as much as they can. Just like hungry dogs.

"Is this what you want?", asks Wells angry, "chaos?"

"What's wrong with a little chaos?", asks Bellamy with a smirk as he puts on the dark blue shirt.

Bellamy leaves the conversation at that and walks away from him, towards the campfire, but then he sees Rafe walking towards him with a mischief smirk on his face.

Bellamy now changes his mind and doesn't feel like chaos anymore. He knows that things are going wrong between him and Rafe, especially now that neither of their sisters are there to stop them.

The way Rafe walks towards Bellamy, Bellamy knows it's going to end badly, but Bellamy doesn't let him get him down. He feels like teaching Rafe a lesson.
