Jack and Sarah sat in Eleanor's office, the evidence they had gathered spread across the large oak desk. Amanda was leaning against the wall, her arms crossed, her face a mask of determination. The weight of months of work bore down on all of them, but for the first time, there was a shared sense of clarity. They were closing in on Kane, and the pieces of the puzzle were beginning to align.

Eleanor flipped through the pages of documents, her sharp eyes scanning the financial records, testimonies, and property deeds. "This is strong," she said finally, her voice even. "We've tied Kane's operations to decades of corruption. But strong isn't enough—we need undeniable. We need something that will stop his lawyers dead in their tracks."

Jack exchanged a glance with Sarah, who nodded before speaking. "That's why we think the Eagle's Crest facility is the key. Everything we've found points back to that location—equipment orders, payments, even witness testimonies. Whatever Project Phoenix is, it's at the heart of Kane's network."

Amanda stepped forward, her voice steady. "We also have the decrypted files from the server. They're a map of Kane's financial empire. But there's one folder we couldn't crack—it's locked behind a higher level of encryption than anything else. That has to be where he's hiding the details about Project Phoenix."

Eleanor leaned back in her chair, her expression contemplative. "So, we need a way to access that folder. If it contains what we think it does, it could be the nail in the coffin."

Jack leaned forward, resting his forearms on the desk. "We've considered that. If we can get another warrant, we can seize the server itself and bring in specialists to crack it. But we have to act fast. If Kane realizes we're this close, he'll destroy anything incriminating."

Sarah added, "We've also started connecting more of the witness testimonies to the financial records. People who've been silent for years are finally speaking up, and their stories are consistent with the evidence. It's building a case that's not just about money—it's about lives Kane has ruined."

Eleanor tapped her pen against the desk, her sharp mind visibly weighing their options. "Alright. Here's what we'll do. I'll expedite the warrant for the server and get the green light for another raid on Eagle's Crest. In the meantime, I want you three to focus on solidifying these connections. Every transaction, every testimony—it all needs to be bulletproof."

Amanda nodded, already scribbling notes. "I'll organize the data so it's ready for court. The clearer we make this, the harder it'll be for Kane's team to poke holes in it."

As the meeting broke up, Jack, Sarah, and Amanda returned to the conference room, their determination renewed. The walls were lined with evidence boards, timelines, and maps, each one a testament to the sheer scope of Kane's reach.

Jack stood in front of one of the boards, tracing his finger along a timeline that spanned over a decade. "It's almost unbelievable," he said, shaking his head. "How one man could manipulate so many lives and stay under the radar for this long."

Sarah joined him, her eyes scanning the photos and notes pinned to the board. "It's because he built a system designed to protect him. He surrounded himself with layers of lies, and everyone who could've stopped him was either silenced or bought off. But now, the cracks are showing."

Amanda looked up from her laptop, her voice cutting through the quiet. "Speaking of cracks, I found something new in the server files. It's not the encrypted folder, but it's a log—activity from the last few months. It shows that Kane has been actively accessing certain accounts and transferring money to offshore holdings."

Jack turned to her, his interest piqued. "Why would he be moving money now?"

Amanda's eyes narrowed. "My guess? He's preparing to run. If he senses that we're close, he might try to disappear."
