The morning of the raid on the new facility dawned crisp and clear, the sunlight streaming through the windows of the DA's office. Jack stood in the conference room, staring at the whiteboard that detailed the team's plan. Around him, the team bustled with activity, preparing for what they hoped would be the operation to bring Kane's empire crashing down.

Sarah entered the room, two steaming cups of coffee in hand. She handed one to Jack, her expression a mix of focus and determination. "You've been staring at that board for fifteen minutes. What's running through your head?"

Jack took a sip of the coffee, grateful for its warmth. "Just going over every detail. This has to be airtight, Sarah. If we miss anything—anything at all—Kane will find a way to use it against us."

Sarah placed a reassuring hand on his arm. "We've done the work, Jack. The warrant is solid, the team is prepared, and we've got Leo's intel backing us up. We're ready."

Jack nodded, though the tension in his shoulders didn't ease. "It's just... this feels bigger than anything we've done before. The Phoenix Directive, this facility—it's the heart of Kane's operation. If we get this right, we can end it. But if we don't..."

Sarah's voice was firm but gentle. "We will. We've planned for this moment for months. Trust the team, and trust yourself."

By mid-morning, the team was assembled in the briefing room. Eleanor stood at the front, a commanding presence as she reviewed the plan one final time. A large map of the facility was displayed on the screen behind her, with key points of entry and target areas marked.

"Alright," Eleanor began, her tone authoritative. "We've confirmed that this facility is operated by a subsidiary of Clearwater Holdings. Financial records link it directly to Kane's offshore accounts and the Phoenix Directive. This is our best chance to uncover what he's been hiding."

She gestured to the map. "Team One will secure the server room. Based on Leo's intel, this is where the bulk of the digital evidence is stored. Team Two will sweep the main office for physical files and any additional documentation."

Amanda raised her hand. "What's our timeline once we're inside?"

"Thirty minutes," Eleanor replied. "This facility is in a remote area, but Kane's people won't take long to respond if they catch wind of what we're doing. We get in, secure the evidence, and get out."

Jack spoke up, his voice steady. "What about resistance? Are we expecting security on-site?"

Eleanor nodded. "It's likely. We've confirmed that Kane employs private contractors for his facilities. They're not law enforcement, but they're trained to deter intrusions. Everyone, stay alert."

As the team prepared to move out, Amanda approached Jack and Sarah. She held a tablet displaying live updates from Leo, who was monitoring the situation remotely.

"Leo says the facility's network is still active," Amanda reported. "Once we're inside, he'll be able to guide us through accessing the encrypted files."

Sarah nodded, her expression resolute. "Good. The faster we can extract the data, the better."

Jack glanced at Amanda, his tone serious. "Are you staying here to coordinate?"

Amanda smirked. "You bet. Someone has to keep an eye on the bigger picture. Don't worry—I'll be in your ears the whole time."

Jack's lips quirked in a faint smile. "Let's hope we don't need too much babysitting."

Amanda rolled her eyes. "Just don't forget to follow the plan, Mercer. I'd hate to have to come bail you out."

The drive to the facility was quiet, the weight of the operation settling over the team. Jack and Sarah rode together, the silence between them filled with unspoken anticipation. Jack's hands tightened on the steering wheel as they neared the remote location, the dense woods around them casting long shadows across the road.
