The helicopter ride is long and Julia's leg bounces with anxiety the whole time. Come to think of it, she's never been on a helicopter before. A gratuitous thirty-four years of her life have been spent on all forms of travel but a helicopter. Her eyes bounce from her watch to Archer, lying on a stretcher. It's hours before they finally touch down on the roof of Seattle Grace. Addison and Derek meet them as they arrive, the redhead runs over and greets her sister-in-law.Archer gets put in an ICU ward, he wakes up from his sedation a few hours after they touch down.
"Must be bad if you're here." He says as he looks over to Addison.
"Archie," She whispers as she sits in the chair beside her brother, clasping his hand. "What happened?"
"I don't know," He sighs. "I was...I was fine, and then I dropped." He looks over to a sleeping Julia. "I scared her."
"You scared me."
"I'm fine Addison,"
"You are not fine, Archer. This is serious. This could be epilepsy or a brain tumour.."
"I'm not dying,"
Addison gives him a look. "What if you are, what then, Archer? What about Julia?"
Archer just lays back and sighs. Suddenly his body tenses and he starts to shake, he groans and grunts in pain and Addison tries to hold him still. She calls for help, waking Julia.
"Archie!" She shouts standing up, trying to help Addison. Nurses rush in and Addison and Julia get ushered outside his room. They watch as Derek strides in, rattling off instructions to the nurses. He sedates Archer again, giving him a drug cocktail of anti-seizure medications.
"He's booked in for a CT scan. Once I get a better look at what's going on in there, then I can work out a plan. Until the CT all we can do is wait," Derek writes down a few things in his chart, Julia doesn't say anything and just goes back in to sit with her husband.
"So you expect us to just sit around and wait?"
"Addie-" Derek starts but the red-haired doctor cuts him off.
"Do not 'Addie' me, Derek,"
"Until he gets the CT, this is all we can do." Addison storms off crying and Derek sighs.
Julia sits by him, tracing patterns on his hand. "Oh, Archie," Julia whispered. "I need you to be okay, I need you to stay alive so you can meet your daughter," Julia rests a hand on her stomach, tears forming in her eyes. "At least I think it's a girl. I have a feeling it is. I need you to be okay, Archer."
His room door opens and Aurora appears with a smile on her face. "Hi," She says quietly and Julia gets up from her seat and hugs her.
"You got here quick."
