Life is strange

A year and half later since Nari and Tim ended their relationship.

Jin's song, Astronauts was blasting as Nari was driving with Hoseok downtown Seoul. She was smiling and giggling with him as they both sang along.

"When I'm with you, there is no one else..." Hoseok sang at the top of his lungs... "I get heaven to myself" he said reaching for her hand, squeezing it and kissing it. He looked into her eyes, his eyes were soft and kind. They were full of hope, j hope, and sparkled at her.

She felt full again. After Tim ended things with her Hoseok and Nari started to slowly rebuild their lost relationship. During this time, life seemed like a roller coaster. Numerous ups and downs.

She lost her first love of her life due to both ends on lack of communication, selfishness and misunderstanding. She understood where she messed up on her end and sworn to herself to take that fault and rekindle it into a better version of herself. One where she's was not selfish.

At night, she often found herself yearning for Tim, missing their relationship. He knew her like no one else, especially since they known each other since childhood. She missed his smile, charisma and kindness, but the past was in past. Both of them were not on speaking terms, even on university grounds, when they would make eye contact walking opposing paths, Tim would either take another path or outright ignore her gestures to say hi or be somewhat friendly. She truly hurt him and she had to carry that with her forever.

She remembered those endless nights she would cry in her room, with her friends comforting her. She felt lost and empty with the absence of her first love. It truly felt like her heart had been ripped out.

Ariana Grande's song, "we can be friends", constantly played on repeat. Her room was constantly a mess, grades slipping and appetite gone. Life had gotten so bad but her roomates dragged her to therapy to pull her out of the depressive slump.

It wasn't easy at first. It took a lot of confessing, and self reflection but eventually things were getting better. Anti depressants and good people helped a lot.

Hoseok eventually came back into her life during this era. He realized she missed a lot of the shared class they were in, so he visited her frequently to bring her notes, groceries and was there to listen and help her heal.

Their romantic spark eventually rekindled, and like he promised her, he would always be waiting for her if she ever were to take him back.

As that long period in her life passed, Tim went on to graduate and start medical school in the heart of Seoul. She wondered if they would ever cross paths again... probably not... but she hoped one day they could so she could apologize and rekindle at least a friendship.

Nari snapped out of her daze to catch Hoseok switching glances at her for the road as he sang the last bit of the song. "Heaven coming through, and I love you..."

His eyes glimmered as he said that, smiling ear to ear and he sang I love you to her. She smiled back and mouthed the end with him.... "I love you"

Hoseok dropped Nari off at her apartment after their romantic evening together.

"See you tmrw in class my love?" He asked.

"Ofc, love u" she said giving him a peck on the lips and heading into the complex.

She had groceries in her arms as well as some takeout boxes. As Nari stepped into the elevator, and dark figure exited and bumped into her, knocking her down.

"Shit... sorry. I didn't see u" the stranger grumbled, bending down to pick her up.

He extended her hand and she took it. As Nari looked into the strangers eyes, they looked familiar, like she had seen them somewhere before.
