As the chapter starts off at the void, Mario sleeping away until he soon woke up to find himself in complete darkness.
Mario: Huh? Where am I? Hello? Hello, is anybody here?! SMG4?! Y/n?! Luigi?! Car?! Meggy?!
He tried calling out his friends for help, but nothing happened as he is all alone in the world of complete darkness.
Mario: What's going on here?! Am I dead and gone to hell?!
???: Sorry buddy, but you're not dead and not in hell.
Mario: Huh? Who said that?
???: I did!
Mario then turned around to see himself, which turned out to be Smart Mario from the deleted alternate timeline where he and Y/n swapped IQs that ended up destroying the world until Smart Mario used his newfound intelligence to go back in time to prevent that future from happening ever again. However, that also resulted in Smart Mario to fuse with Mario, which also somehow managed to fix and heal Mario's brain overtime and it's also why Smart Mario took over at certain situations like how he took out one of Francis's anime goons and explain his whole evil plan to his friends.
Mario: Who are you?!
Smart Mario: I'm you! Well, the smarter version of you from an alternate dimension. I'm pretty sure you don't remember that I somehow fused with you when you were walking to the castle until you saw me coming towards you.
Mario: Oh yeah, I remember that. Why are you here anyway? Do I owe you money or something?
Smart Mario: Nope. I'm here to tell you something important.
Mario: Important?
Smart Mario: Yes? Do you wanna know where I came from?
Mario: Are you another one of my clones? Cause there was another Smart version of me when me and Y/n visited the Mario Hotel.
Smart Mario: Not exactly. Allow me to show you what happened.
Then Smart Mario showed Mario a video on a PC that shows what happened during the events of "If Y/n and Mario Swapped IQs" and as Mario watches every second of the episode, he soon began to understand what his more intelligent counterpart was talking about as he knew why he and his smart self-fused together to use some serious smart moments to help out his friends instead of messing up and getting blamed for his own stupidity.
Mario: Dear God...
Smart Mario: I know right? Such a tragic event ain't it?
Mario: I can't believe that my friends would do something that stupid that to me and Y/n that destroyed the entire universe.
Smart Mario: Well, that won't happen again cause as long as I'm here as your conscious, we'll both make it through this together.
Mario: Yeah! We're both #1!
Smart Mario: Hell yeah!
But then, the whole place began to shake as Mario soon woke up from a dream sequence by SMG4 shaking him awake.
SMG4: Mario! Wake up!
Mario: (Waking up) Huh? Wha- What happened?!
SMG4: You fell asleep, and I had to wake you up! Stay focused Mario! Y/n is about to start the meeting!
Mario: Oh right!
After Mario, Luigi, Tari and Desti managed to find out about Francis' evil plan from his Facebook post and obtained a map to Anime Island, where Meggy, Axol and all of the kidnapped Inklings are all trapped in for Francis to drain them for their ink for his own dark, perverted desires. The gang made their way over to Y/n's underground bunker from under his house with Swag, Chris and the Former A.S.S. agents along with a few friends
