Ruby "do you see anything?" She asked Alisa and Kay

Alisa "nothing yet"

Kay "I think I see something in the distance but the snow is making it hard but it looks like a city"

Ruby "so should we go there?"

Kay "no we should get close though so we can scout out for any enemy defense's, fortifications, troops, tanks, aircraft, artillery, openings, Strong Points, vehicles, Points of interest, machine gun nests, mines, snipers nests, advantage points and finally patrols"

Ruby "okay that's a lot and what's a tank?"

Kay and Alisa looked at each other

Alisa "we will tell you when we see one"

Meanwhile

Elizabeth and Katrina were patrolling but saw nothing except for snow and leafless trees

Elizabeth "Katrina I have to ask you something and it's important"

Katrina "what is it?"

Elizabeth "you and Erika are very close right?"

Katrina "that's been established already"

Elizabeth "exactly but that's what worries me I'm afraid that you might act irrationally or let your emotions get the best of you"

Katrina "even the best soldiers can let emotions take control of them"

Elizabeth "I know but this is very personal for you"

Katrina stopped with Elizabeth doing the same

Katrina "the whole war was personal for me and my people"

Elizabeth "I know but this isn't about that this is about someone you care about" she said emphasizing the "you" part

Katrina sighed "I know, but I will not let my emotions blind my judgement on the battlefield"

Elizabeth "alright"

Katrina "however when I find that Grimm I'm going to beat it to death with my bare hands"

Elizabeth "fair enough" she said before looking towards the direction of the other 3 "alright we should get back to them"

Katrina "of course" she said and with that they started to head back towards the others

Elizabeth "for your sake I'll pretend this conversation never happened"

Katrina "Спасибо" she said as they walked towards the tree

Meanwhile

Ruby "hey they're coming back" she said pointing to Katrina and Elizabeth

Kay "Okay then Alisa you can get out of the tree now"

Alisa "got it" she said as she slung her rifle over her shoulder and started to climb down from the tree

Elizabeth "what do you see?" She asked as she approached them

Kay "there's massive structures in the distance it's most likely a big city like new-" she cut herself off before correcting herself  "vale or something"

Elizabeth "good we should head towards the city and scout out for anything interesting like-"

Kay "yeah we know we gave Ruby the rundown already I don't think she wants to hear it again"

Elizabeth "oh jolly good then let's get going"

Ruby "finally I was getting tired of sitting here" She said as they got up and started to walk towards the city

But just as they did they heard a buzzing sound

Kay "shit get down!" She said grabbing Ruby and pulling her to the ground with the rest of them

Ruby "what's wrong!?"

Elizabeth "enemy scouting aircraft!"

Ruby looked up to see a small aircraft with its small landing gear and it's small size, she could see two people Sitting inside it one flying it and another facing the opposite direction

It's a Fieseler Fi 156 Storch

Katrina "did they see us?"

Elizabeth "not sure but we stick out like a sore thumb"

Kay "should we shoot it?"

Alisa "I've got a shot but it won't be long before it's out of range" she said looking through her scope

Elizabeth "take the shot"

Alisa carefully aimed at the pilots head then aimed ahead before squeezing the trigger

The shot rang out and got the pilot the glass of the cockpit being splattered with his blood as the plane started to slowly go down

Kay "come on! We need to get to the crash to make sure the other guy can't get help!" She said pulling Ruby to her feet

Everyone got up and started to run towards the where the plane was crashing

They heard a loud noise of metal bending and breaking as it hit the ground

Elizabeth "Ruby use your speed and get to it!"

Ruby "got it!" She said as she used her Petal burst

Ruby got to the pane ahead of them just in time to see the second man in the plane to get falling onto the ground

Ruby "stop right there!" She said aiming her weapon at him

Recon Pilot "Nein, nicht schießen!" He said putting one of his hands up "no shoot it surrender!"

Ruby "just stay down!" She said as he put his hand down

Unbeknownst to her he was secretly going to grab his pistol

Kay "Ruby!" She yelled as she approached her

Ruby "one of the pilots is alive!" She said turning to face Kay

Kay "Ruby watch out!" She said aiming her rifle

Ruby turned around to see the pilot pulling her gun out

Kay fired her Garand

The pilot's head exploded his blood getting onto Ruby's clothes

Ruby was a bit shocked but she had seen this before so she was slightly less disgusted but it still disturbed her even if it wasn't real

Katrina "Дерьмо I thought we could beat information out of him" she said as the squad ran up next to Ruby

Elizabeth "well our timing is fucked were going to have to go in now with no recon"

Ruby "why?"

Elizabeth "because if they didn't see the plane go down, they will come looking for it once they realize they won't report back"

Alisa "then they'll come looking for us"

Katrina "and trust me when I say Erika's people are great at tracking down people who they want dead"

Ruby "oh... Okay let's get going then"

They started to move out

But just as they did

Radio "Aufklärungsflugzeug zwei bitte antworten, Aufklärungsflugzeug zwei bitte antworten oder Sie werden als vermisst gemeldet" it Spoke but it's pilots would never respond

Radio "Ein Suchteam wurde zu Ihrem letzten bekannten Aufenthaltsort geschickt."
