"Some love in silence; listen closely." ---Suga---

J-Hope let out an exaggerated groan, his footsteps slowing as the thick mud clung to his boots. He bent down, resting his hands on his knees as he heaved an overly dramatic sigh.

Suga stopped a few paces ahead, glancing over his shoulder with a scowl. "What now?"

"My feet," J-Hope whined, straightening up and pointing at his boots as if they’d betrayed him. "They’re killing me, Yoongi. We’ve been walking for hours!"

"You’ve been walking for twenty minutes," Suga deadpanned, but he stayed put, crossing his arms as the rain dripped from his hood. "You going to keep complaining, or are we moving?"

J-Hope threw a pitiful glance at Suga before trudging forward again, his exaggerated limp earning an eye roll from his companion. "I swear, if I die out here, you’ll regret this," he muttered.

"You’re not dying," Suga said dryly, resuming his pace. "You’re just dramatic."

“Dramatic?” J-Hope spun around to walk backward, his expression one of mock indignation. “Why do I even love you, Yoongi?”

Suga barely spared him a glance, his face impassive under the shadow of his hood. “You shouldn’t.”

J-Hope stopped walking for a moment, staring at Suga's retreating figure. “You’re impossible!” he called out, jogging to catch up. “Would it kill you to be a little romantic for once? Just once?”

“I don’t do romance in the rain,” Suga said, glancing sideways at him. His face was mostly hidden under his hood, but the faintest smirk tugged at his lips.

“Oh, so you do romance?” J-Hope teased, stepping closer to bump shoulders. “When, Yoongi? On dry, sunny afternoons while sipping tea? Tell me!”

Suga sighed, his smirk disappearing as he avoided J-Hope’s gaze. “Don’t push it, Hoseok.”

J-Hope pouted exaggeratedly, walking backward now to keep facing Suga. “You’re lucky you’re cute. Otherwise, I’d trade you in for someone who carries me through the rain like Jungkook does for Jimin.”

Suga stopped abruptly, causing J-Hope to stumble. He pointed ahead where Jungkook walked with Jimin securely in his arms, the smaller boy clinging to him like a koala.

“That’s not romance,” Suga said dryly. “That’s babysitting. He’s sick, isn’t he? What do you expect Jungkook to do, let him walk and collapse?”

“He never scolds him,” J-Hope muttered, crossing his arms. “Jimin could set the forest on fire, and Jungkook would probably just carry him out like a prince saving a damsel in distress.”

“Don’t be dramatic again,” Suga replied, resuming his walk. The path ahead was darker now, the trees thickening and the rain forming small rivulets in the mud. The group ahead was barely visible, their figures shrouded by the dense foliage and dim light.

J-Hope wasn’t done. “I’m not dramatic! Did you see Jimin earlier? He threw a rock at a cop. A cop, Yoongi! Blood everywhere! Jungkook didn’t even blink. He just scooped him up and walked off.”

Suga raised an eyebrow, his pace unhurried. “He didn’t even yell?”

“Not a word,” J-Hope confirmed, throwing his hands up. “Meanwhile, if I so much as sneeze without covering my mouth, you look at me like I’ve committed a crime.”

“You probably have,” Suga muttered, his voice so low it was almost lost in the rain.

J-Hope stopped again, throwing an exaggerated glare. “This! This is why I’m saying you’re impossible!”
