The Trip

"I need everybody's permission slips, okay? Sammy, please collect them."

The teacher instructed his students as there were a couple of buses here since the students in biology class are going on a trip to the location to learn about plants.

"Guys, let's go. Come on, get in. In, let's go!" The biology teacher hurried his students to the bus as he took in the permission slips that had the students allowed to go on the trip.

Meanwhile bella was over at the truck, looking over at the dent that was caused by the van that almost crashed her and (Y/n), she couldn't help but thought about the accident that day, how Edward had stopped the car with his bare hand, getting there so fast to save her and (Y/n).

Then there is (Y/n) who's eyes changed from (e/c) eyes to darkly purple and a light glow on the palm of her hand before it disappeared when Edward has came, she knew there is something about them thats different from the humans and knew that they aren't normal at all.

But suddenly, the brown haired girl lifted her head up to see edward, Alice, jasper and (Y/n) coming over as they were gonna go on the trip as well as (Y/n) is beside Alice who has her arm over hers, holding her close with a smile on her lips that the (h/c) haired woman return which softened the brown haired woman heart of seeing it.

(Y/n) glance over at bella, her (e/c) eyes connected to her brown ones as she gave a warm smile to her which bella return with a warm one before suddenly bella cut eye contact when Mike had came over, standing in front of the teenage girl with a enthusiasm grin on his face.

"Look at you, huh? You're alive." He joked around which had bella chuckled lightly, smiling,"i know, yeah. False alarm, i guess."

"Yeah." Mike agreed before looking anxious of what he was gonna ask her."Now, I wanted to ask you, you know, if... you know, it's like a month away, but..." he chuckled nervously."Do you wanna go to prom with me?"

But bella didn't seem to listen to his words as it seemed she was more focused on (Y/n) and Edward who were already looking at her, but mostly is staring at (Y/n) who kept an calm expression on her face as Edward was beside her, his hand on her lower back as he stayed by her while Alice is holding onto the young immortal is arm and jasper has his hand on her shoulder as he stayed by her closely.

(Y/n) has her hand the vampire is shoulder, giving a gentle comforting squeeze to ease Edward down, which he appreciated.

"So, what do you think?" Mike's voice was able to cut off bella trance of her staring to the young vampire and immortal that were distance away from her.

She had her attention focus on her friend away from (Y/n) and Edward that were looking at her before they turned their eyes away.

"About what?" Bella asked, confused as she wasn't paying attention to him."Do you want to go? To prom? With me?" Mike asked again, seeming nervous about how she would answer his question to the prom that is month away.

"Prom... dancing..." bella seemed awkward of being asked to prom by someone that she didn't seem interested wanting to go "not such a good idea for me. I have something that weekend anyway. I'm going to Jacksonville that weekend." She said, making up an excuse.

"You can't go another weekend?"

"Non-refundable ticket."

(Y/n) smirked lightly as she watched the conversation between bella and Mike that she could tell had asked bella out, that seem to put her in a awkward position and is making up a excuse to not go with him as she kept her (e/c) eyes on them before she turn her head away and looked over at Edward that was already glancing at her.
