"What were you thinking bella?"
(Y/n) asked with worried but a hint of disappointment in her tone of what bella had tried to do that was reckless and dangerous.
"You know those guys don't carry helmets and who knows if you gotten yourself in a terrible accident." She continues speaking to the mortal teenager as the witch is in her car in the driver seat with bella on the passenger seat of her car.
They were driving down the road as it was still night time and (Y/n) had told Jessica to head back home on her own and she will take bella and she accepted that so now the two woman were in (Y/n)'s car, driving down the road in the cold night.
Bella had a frown as she looked down "I saw him (Y/n)... i saw Edward.." she revealed which had the witch confused and glance over at her "what are you talking about bell? I don't sense Edward anywhere, so I don't think he is here. Are you even sure you saw him?" She asked, looking more concern as she thought that bella is emotions of Edward leaving and (Y/n)'s leaving bella alone for the past months is taking a toll on her mental health that is causing her to see edward.
"I'm sure, I did. He said to keep walking, it's dangerous and when i went walking over to those guys that was by the motorcycle, he appeared again and told me to turn around." The mortal teenager explained to the witch who is looking more worried of realizing that bella is hallucinating edward because of the depression and heartbreak.
She let out a sigh and looked forward the road then she parked her car on the side of the road and she grabbed bella's hand and had her fingers intertwined with hers causing the brown haired girl looked over at her, feeling the hole in her heart begin to be filled by the warm and soft touch of the witch that she had thought she wouldn't see again.
"Bella, im so sorry for not being there.." The witch looked over at the mortal girl who gaze at her "i thought if i just kept myself a distance away and protect you afar then I wouldn't harm you cause when I had cut you in your birthday party, I felt guilty. I know it was a accident but I just couldn't stand seeing you hurt especially after what happen with James and I thought I lost you."
She inhales slowly and shakily, trying to control her emotions "I thought it was better for me to be a distance away from you but I could see that wasn't the solution and only cause you more pain and more suffering. I should've been there for you bells but I guess I got so busy that I was looking for Victoria so she wouldn't bother us anymore."
Bella's eyes widened of the mentioned of Victoria as she had forgotten about her cause of her heartbreak of edward gone and depression when she thought that (Y/n) had left as well with the cullens.
But her heart ache of hearing how (Y/n) felt guilty for the harm that had gone her way.
"I miss the cullens too. I really do and there's not been a day that I hadn't thought about them but I do know that I stayed here because your here and I want to keep you safe and not leave you because I care for you a lot bells, I really do." (Y/n) confessed of how she had been feeling since the cullens left as she grip her hand gently and give it a light squeeze as bella felt tears forming in her eyes of hearing this.
"I thought..." she sniff, trying to hold back the tears thats threatening to fell from her brown eyes "I really thought that you left me too, (Y/n). That I will never see you again and will never be able to hear your voice and be in your arms. I thought that I wouldn't be able to be here with you again..." she told her with tears falling.
Seeing Bella crying like this and the sorrow even pain in her voice had her feeling more guilty and more regretful for being distance to her as she then let go of her hand and wrapped her arms around her and embrace her closely.
