The next day came as all the students were at the cafeteria, getting their lunches after the school bell rang that it was lunch break.
Bella walked inside the cafeteria to the table where her friends that she had made in the first day of school when she came as she could hear her friends conversation that they were having but she halted her movement for a moment.
"No, you need the mitts. You need them." Eric argued with one of his friends."No, why do you keep arguing with me? You just need them. You're gonna get frostbite!"
(Y/n) was at the table where the cullens are as she was sitting between emmett and Edward as she took a sip of her (f/d) as they were walking but (Y/n) felt eyes on her having her to glance over to be in contact with bella's brown ones as she was gazing at their table.
She gave the brown haired teenager a smile which bella return softly but Edward seem to notice the stare on them as he stopped his conversation with one of his "siblings" and glance over at the young teenager.
Edward who seems to be in irritated and confused, dropped a piece of food that he was holding back to the plastic food basket as (Y/n) frown, knowing why he was getting upset because of him not able to read her mind and that it's confusing to him of why he saved bella and not just (Y/n) only.
The young immortal let out a sigh, placing her hand on his back, making Edward gaze over at her. "You should really stop being a jerk, Edward. Look, she isn't bad at all. Just gave it a chance beside your moods swings are starting to be concerning, though cause I've never seen you like this before... well aside when we met." She snickered light of the memory of their first time meeting each other.
This caused Edward to groan out in embarrassment but a small smile form on his lips as Alice is leaning against jasper who had his arm over her and emmett had his arm over (Y/n)'s waist as she kept herself between the two male vampires.
The brown haired vampire felt so flustered of how his first meeting with (Y/n) turn out cause of him so confused of why he was so attached to the beautiful (h/c) haired woman and why he felt so protective of her and wanted to keep her safe and happy.
It was even irritating him that he couldn't hear her mind at all and that whenever, he asks of her what she's thinking and what she is, (Y/n) be a little mischievous by not telling him or changing the subject to annoy Edward more since she did wanted to be a bit playful to the young cullen vampire who at first was annoyed at her but began to slowly enjoy her playful side and started to like being around her.
"You really had to mention that, huh?" Edward smirked at her, and (Y/n) snickered, grinning."Yeah." Emmett chuckled lowly as the others even let out a few giggles and snickered as they knew what they were talking about and saw how (Y/n) was a little cheeky to Edward to mess with him a bit cause she did seem to enjoy his frustration.

Bella turn her gaze away from (Y/n) and the cullen's is tavle as she put her backpack down on the seat that she will be sitting as her friend Eric began to speak "Hey, la push, baby. You in?" He asked.
The teenager raised an eyebrow of hearing this "should I know what that means?" She questioned, which has Mike to answer her."La push beach down at the quileute rez. We're all going tomorrow." He explained.
"Yeah, there's a big swell coming in." Jessica added as she glanced up at her,"and I don't just surf the internet." The young teenager said, grinning as he stood up, pretending that he looks like he is surfing even Mike pretended to surf along with him only for Taylor to grabbed his shoulder, forcing him to sit down on his spot.
