Bella to spot Carlisle in the large portrait and spoke "is that Carlisle?" She asked "yeah. He lived with them for a few decades. Described them as very refined. No respect for human life, of course, but a respect for the arts and the sciences, at least."

The three volturi leaders gaze down at the humans with disdain on their faces as they turn around and headed out of the balcony and goes the throne room of the palace with Carlisle following after them.
"Vampires have laws?"
"Not very many. And only one that's regularly enforced."
A servant put a dark long cloak over the vampire man name Aro and he carefully take his long hair out of inside the cloak and headed up in front of the three thrones with his two brothers that's wearing cloaks as well.
"What is it?"
"That we keep the existence of our kind a secret. We don't make spectacles of ourselves, and we don't kill conspicuously."
Aro's two brothers name caius and Marcus who sat down on their own thrones with Carlisle standing by behind the throne chairs.
The male vampires walked forward to a vampire that is being held by his two guards that gripped each of his arms to not escape as aro stared at the vampire that had broken the law and had expose himself to the humans.
He place his hands on each of the vampire is head, his expression cold and emotionless.
"Unless, of course, you want to die."
Marcus and caius watches as aro begin to slowly pull the head, the vampire begin to scream out in agony, cracks appearing on his pale skin as aro then pull the man head off having both of the guards tore out each of his arms, killing the man.
Carlisle gaze away from the scene, a frown on his lips as he stayed quiet, keeping his expression blank to not be noticed by the three volturi leaders.

"You gotta stop talking about that. I can't even think about someone hurting you and (Y/n)." Bella said, feeling a ache in her heart of the thought of her lover and (Y/n) be harmed.
Edward smiled of bella's concern "Bella, the only thing that can hurt me is you and (Y/n) and I don't have anything else to be afraid of." He said, looking over at his girlfriend who sighed "thats not true." She denied, mentioning Victoria that will go after them after what they had done to james back then in the ballet studio.
"Victoria? She'll come for me one day. Alice will see when she decides and we'll be ready."
Bella glance over at the portrait then she thought about (Y/n) and her kind, wondering what it was like with the witches and the vampires.
