Our Purpose

Movie Night

Bella walked through the school cafeteria as she held the strap of her backpack, she glance over at the table that the cullens used to sit at that she had been sitting in since edward and the cullens had left.

She thought of sitting by herself again instead of her friends but she then thought for a moment that she does need to socialize especially she felt guilty for being distance from her friends so she begin to walk over to them, overheard their conversations.

"I did see something in the woods." Angela said to Eric who held her hand "totally. Baby, I believe you." He smiled only for Jessica to cut in "no, he doesn't. He's just trying to get lucky." This had Eric laugh "no, okay. It was jet black and huge. On all fours, it was still taller than a person. A bear, maybe?" The glasses teenager guessed.

"Or an alien. You're lucky you didn't get probed." Mike added himself in the conversation, snickering along with Eric "well, I saw it."

When bella came over to the table having them to be surprise to see bella coming over to their table after months of sitting by herself and not talking to them.

Jessica smile faded of seeing bella as she had a look of annoyance of seeing her coming over as she then begin to speak "you know, you're not the only one. My dad's been getting reports at the station. Like, five hikers have been killed by some bear. But they can't find the bear."

This had Angela looked over at Eric with a look that she was right making Eric laugh awkwardly "last time you clowns doubt my girlfriend." He said, trying to save a face making Angela roll her eyes before smiling then Mike clear his throat and looked at bella "so? I mean, bella's back?"

This had bella to smile lightly and a bit of force before she chuckled "yeah, i guess so."

"All right, that's... well, welcome. So, listen, now that you're talking and eating again, which, you know, you've got to get that protein in there." Mike playfully patted her stomach lightly which had her smile a bit "I was wondering if you wanted to go see a movie with me."

This had bella quiet for a moment, thinking before she responded "yeah. Sure. Yeah, I do." She agreed which had Mike grin "cool. Let me see, we could check out love spelled backwards is love. You know, it's a dumb title but it's romantic comedy. I mean, it's supposed to be pretty..." only for bella to cut in.

"No. No romance." Bella denied romance movies, shaking her head since she doesn't want to cause more of the ache in her heart to get worse and remember edward "how about face punch? Have you heard of that?" She asked.

"I mean, that's an action movie."

"Yeah, that's perfect. Guns, adrenaline. That's my thing."

"Okay." Mike agrees to watch face punch "we should get a bunch of people to go." The mortal teenager turn to her friends "do you guys want to go see face punch?" She asked them "face punch, yeah!" Eric agreed, smiling "Mike, hey, we were supposed to watch that. Remember, the trailer's like..." he mimics the explosion sounds "punch face."

"Yeah, I remember." Mike said, looking disappointed as he was hoping to go to the movies with bella alone, "yeah! Movie night with bella." Jessica said sarcastically, a force small smile on her lips but she had a hint of irritation and bit of jealousy in her eyes of the thought of Mike going with bella.

Bella thought of inviting Jacob and (Y/n) over to the movies as well since she did wanted to spend some time with them, mostly (Y/n).

Later tonight as Mike is looking around with an anxious and uncomfortable expression on his face "so face punch, huh?" Jacob asked having the blonde teenager to looked at Jacob who had arrived first at the movie theather before bella's friends and (Y/n).
