Bella had entered inside the police station as she goes over to her father, Charles is desk where she sees him staring in the distance but she could see the sadness and grief in his eyes which had her frown.
"Hey." She greeted him as she leaned down beside her dad, who turned to her."Hey." He responded back.
"Dad, I'm really sorry." She told him with sympathy in her voice as it was quiet for a moment before he began to speak."I've known him going on 30 years."
The young girl place her hand on his shoulder and he place his hand on top of hers, holding it as he appreciated his daughter is comfort and is trying hard to not tear up of the loss of his close friend that had suddenly been murdered by this "animal".
"Don't worry, we're gonna find this thing. Meantime." Charles grabbed a pepper spray that's on his desk and leaned it to his daughter who looked at it, not seeming wanting to take it.
"I want you to carry this with you."
"I don't know if you..." she trailed off only for father to cut in, "it'll give your old man some peace of mind."
Bella sighed, knowing that she could not decline this cause she didn't want to make her father worried, so she accepted it and took it from her father's hand. "Okay."
"Let's go home."
Bella and Charles stood up as the man grabbed his jacket, putting it on and the teenage girl walked out of the police station first and sees her father talking to one of the officers so she waited for him outside.
She saw the ambulance that is parked in the parking lot but she sees couple of paramedic dragging the stretcher where a white sheet is over the lifeless body of her father's deceased friend, Waylon as she could see how very pale his body is by only able to glimpse the feet that is sticking out under the sheet.
This caused her eyes widened of remembering Edward skin and how very pale it is and how cold it is which had her knew that there is something off about him even she could tell that (Y/n) knows something about her but isn't telling her about.
She hopes the book that she ordered will help her find the answer of what Edward and (Y/n) is.
The door is heard opening in the station, which had her look over to see her father had finished his conversation with the police officer, and she and her father went to the car, ready to head home.

Bella had arrived back home and went to her bedroom, placing her backpack on the floor and grabbing the book that she had gotten from the bookstore and went over to her desk.
She sat down on the chair and opened her laptop, and then she began to open the book and read through it.
She came upon a page of a picture that showed the inside of the head with the teeth sharps, and she saw the words under the picture that said 'cold one'
"Cold one." Closing the book and placing it on her desk, she goes through her laptop and type on the keyboard and look up cold one in Google and scroll down to see a website that said 'the cold one: Apotamkin.'
She clicked on it that showed a picture of a large monsterly creature, seeming to eat a couple of humans with its mouth wide, showing its teeth.
Scrolling down further, she clicked on Egypt that went to a page of the immortal drinking, a picture of two people holding cups with blood drops in the cup then she went to click on India to reveal picture of a monstrous creature so she clicked on Peru.
Only to reveal a disturbing picture of four people pulling apart a person as the four people were holding each limp and dismembering their limbs so she clicked on another page only to come upon sketch of four people dressed in black and one is cutting to a man stomach that is laying on the table.
