Daou pov
"We are walking in fucking circles," Offroad groaned coming to a stop in the small clearing.
"We aren't. We need to keep moving," Daou said. He didn't want anyone to have the chance to sneak up on them.
"Ugh, I can't walk anymore," Daou could hear the pouting in Offroads' voice.
"You need a break? Fine. Wait here, I'm going scout up ahead," Daou said as he kept walking through the trees. He swore he could hear water but he couldn't pinpoint in which direction it was coming from. He stopped and tried to listen but there was too much wildlife noise to pinpoint it. He needed to find that river, the river flowed down the mountain and it was their ticket out of there. Daou sighed and turned to make his way back to Offroad he got to the clearing but there was no Offroad. "Offroad?" Daou said before walking a bit further. He stopped in his tracks when he heard the giggle. It was then he saw something dangling from the tree that caught his attention. It was Offroad's tie, another giggle. "God damnit Offroad this isn't the time for games," Daou called out to the seemingly empty forest.
"Play with me," Offroad's voice called but just like the river he couldn't pick a point as to where it was coming from so Daou started spinning in circles looking for a clue before stepping in the direction he believed. "Colder," came a giggle.
"Offroad this isn't fucking funny, and it isn't the time for games," Daou called out spinning in a circle when he notice something else hanging from a nearby tree. He rushed over and it was the boy's jacket. "Offroad!"
"Come find me," Daou heard his voice and it sounded closer but it was impossible wasn't it?
"Come out right now," Daou demanded.
"Let's make a bet," came his voice from above that had Daou looking up.
"What bet?" Daou asked, looking around at the treetops.
"Answer the next question correctly and I'll come out," Offroad called out. Daou swore from behind him so Daou swung his body around only to see the boy's shirt now hanging from the tree. Daou growled as he walked over and grabbed it. "Answer it wrongly and you have to find me," Daou swung around again and there were the boys' pants on a distant tree.
"God damnit, Offroad!" Daou yelled, yanking down the boy's pants. "Come out here this instant!" Daou was met with silence. He stood their look all around before gripping his hair in frustration with his free hand that didn't hold the boy's clothes. "FINE!" He yelled. "What's the fucking question?"
"Do you want me?" The boy's voice came softly like it was a whisper in the wind.
"Again with that fucking question? Do you really think that now is an appropriate time to ask that?" Daou said loudly to the entire forest but was met with the sounds of the night animals. "Offroad this isn't funny anymore," Daou called out again but again, silence. "God you are the most annoying person I've ever met in my life!" Daou yelled as he threw the boy's clothes on the ground. "No, means something, at least it does to me,"
"Then answer the question," Offroad voice was right behind him. Daou spun quickly only to see the boy's briefs now hanging from the tree behind him as he saw the boy running through the brush. Daou took off after him but after about a minute of chasing was led back to the small clearing. Daou, now out of breath, could feel's eyes on him and his alpha did not like that. He was the hunter, not the prey.
"What do you want me to say Offroad?!" Daou shouted his frustration getting the best of him. Something caught the corn of his eye, there dangling from the tree was Offroad's belt; he must have missed it when he was spinning around. Daou grabbed it from the branch, snapping the branch off as he ripped from the tree leaning his head against the tree. His mouth was watering Daou thought he had smelled the omegas pheromones. The little shit was baiting his alpha side. "Offroad please," Daou huffed his skin feeling hot.
