Daou POV
"Can you not go any faster?!" Daou yelled from the backseat of the car as Ram drove.
"Look, the mansion sits back in a field, no one has been back here since that night. There are no more roads carved out so unless you want to be airborne or in a hole no or hit a deer going 80 and kill us all? No," Ram growled.
"What is your plan to run in there guns blazing?" Dean asked from the passenger seat and Daou just looked at him.
"Exactly what I plan on doing, or what should I wait around for months only then to hire someone else to do my dirty work?" Daou asked him, watching his face grow red.
"Fuck you!" Dean spat. "These are two very different situations!"
"No, it's really not," Daou growled. "There has to be a faster way!"
"Not unless you want to run through the woods," Ram said.
"Which direction?" Daou asked as he threw his door open causing Ram to slam on his breaks.
"Jesus," He sighed. "Straight through there," Ram pointed to a patch of woods. "Do not deviate just go straight and you will run right into the house,"
Daou took off in the direction Ram had pointed. He ran as fast as he could ignoring the stings of the branches that whipped against his skin. Because of their bond, Daou could feel Offroads' emotions; he had gone from pissed off to terrified. Daou made it through the woods panting as he came upon the largest mansion he had ever laid eyes on. It had to be twice the size of Offroad. It was dark out and the house just looked evil. Daou shivered at the thought of this place being where Offroad was held. Daou noticed the cars out front trying to formulate a plan of how many people were potentially inside.
But all of that went out the window when Daou heard his omega scream. Daou raced to the front of the house trying to get the front door open but it wouldn't budge. Daou started kicking it but it wasn't moving.
"Fuck! Offroad!" Daou screamed at the top of his lungs as he tried with all his might but it was pointless.
The house was sitting on a platform so even if Daou were able to break a window he wouldn't be able to climb into it without a ladder or seriously injuring himself on the broken glass. Daou could hear his heart beating in his ears as he felt Offroad's fear spike even more as another scream was released. 'No one has been back here since that night,' 'That's when I heard it, someone attacked them in the kitchen,' Daou had a light bulb going off in his head hearing Ram's words as raced around to the back of the house. Hoping that this house was laid out similar to Offroads and that is where the kitchen was located. Daou skirted around the corner looking for a door in the dark and eventually found it and gave a good kick. It flung up with a thud and Daou raced inside.
"Offroad!" He screamed racing towards the sounds of the screams. Daou ran down a dark hallway and tripped over something smacking the floor with a thud. When he looked back letting his eyes focus on what he had tripped over he saw the body.
"No!" Offroad screamed and Daou could tell he was crying. "Stop!" Daou jumped back to his feet and made his way to a door shoving it open. Daou fell through the door seeing Deacon pinning Offroad who was face down on the bed. Daou rushed the man grabbing him by the back of his suit jacket, ripping him off Offroad, and slamming his body into the wall so hard it felt like the house had shook. Daou grabbed Offroad but the boy was kicking and screaming his eyes closed shut.
"Baby, it's me, it's me," Daou said as he pulled Offroad to his chest as he sobbed. "I got you, I'm here,"
"He, he," Offroad stuttered.
