And so Rey recovered from her injuries. One day Ezra was training Rey when he sensed Kanan behind him. He turned around and said: "Oh hey Dad." Kanan said: "Hey. How's the training going?" Ezra said: "It's going well, actually. In fact, I'm glad you're here. I think it's a good idea to test her lightsaber skills up against a Jedi Knight. And I don't mean me." Kanan said: "I should have known you'd somehow rope me into helping you. Okay." He took off his jacket and grabbed his lightsaber and nodded. Ezra whistled sharply through his teeth and Rey ran over. Ezra said: "Rey, I want to test your lightsaber skills. You'll be going up against my former Master. He's agreed to help me. You know the routine." He stepped back and watched. He watched the sparring match between Kanan and Rey. The match ended with Kanan disarming Rey. Rey picked up her lightsaber and they bowed. Ezra said: "You still have much to learn, my Padawan." Kanan said: "Anakin, Ahsoka, and I will help in any way we can." Ezra said: "Thanks Dad." Kanan said: "You're welcome, Son. I love you very much." And so they all pitched in to help Ezra train Rey. For which he was glad. It felt nice having his friends and family supporting him. Kanan especially was the strongest supporter. The Father and Son duo were really close. One day Father and Son were walking through the forest talking to each other. It was a easy talk. Kanan had noticed that Ezra was frustrated and overwhelmed and suggested that they take a walk and have a talk.
