They walked through the forest for a while. And as they walked, Ezra told Kanan everything. And Kanan listened. He let Ezra vent. For which Ezra was grateful for. When Ezra was done, Kanan said: "Feel better now that you got that off your chest?" Ezra said: "Yeah, I do. Thanks Dad. It's just, sometimes I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. It'd help if there was a manual for training Padawans." Kanan chuckled and said: "How ironic. I often thought the same thing when I was training you. There's no manual for training Padawans but I think I might have some books that might help." Ezra said: "And pray tell, where did you get said books?" Kanan said: "I went back to the Temple and more or less raided the library." Ezra said: "You didn't." Kanan said: "I did." Ezra said: "I love you, Dad. I don't know if I told you already, but thank you for helping me train Rey." Kanan smiled softly and said: "I love you too, Son. And I'm happy to help." Ezra said: "It's not easy training Rey. She's headstrong and stubborn." Kanan said: "Hmm, sounds like someone else I know. That sounds like you when I was training you." Ezra smiled and said: "Okay, I concede to that point. I was pretty stubborn. I'm pretty sure I gave you more than a few heart attacks during training. Although to be fair, you gave me a few heart attacks with the insane stunts you pulled." Kanan laughed and said: "Touche. I guess we both gave each other more than a few heart attacks." Ezra laughed and said: "I guess so. We're so much alike, it's uncanny." Kanan said: "Yeah." Ezra said: "And yet, I'd have it no other way." Kanan said: "Me too." Ezra said: "I love you, Dad." Kanan said: "I love you too, Son."
