And so the two men went to bed. The next morning Ezra woke up early and pulled back the covers and carefully climbed down the ladder, careful not to wake Kanan. He quietly got dressed and strapped his utility belt around his waist and grabbed his money and put it in a pouch on his utility belt and quietly left the room. He met up with Sabine, Anakin, and Ahsoka. He said: "Dad is still sleeping. I made sure to be quiet so I didn't wake him up. He's not an early riser." Then the four Jedi Knights left the ship. They took the speeder into town, got the clothes and came back. The two Jedi Knights helped the Ghost crew fight the Empire until they were sent back to their timeline. Anakin kept his word. Things played out with a few changes. Order 66 was put into affect but a good majority of the Jedi survived and went into hiding. The Empire rose to power. Anakin knew who to call. He called Kanan and said: "Kanan, Ahsoka and I need a pickup asap." Kanan said: "We just entered the planet. Ezra, Sabine, and I had a feeling that you two needed some help. I'll tell you how we got here from our timeline later." Anakin said: "Thanks." Kanan said: "No problem." A few minutes later the Ghost appeared in front of the two Jedi Knights and hovered just above the ground with Kanan standing on the ramp and said: "You'll have to jump. We had a close call coming in." Anakin said: "That's fine." The two Jedi Knights Force jumped up onto the ramp and ran inside. Kanan was right behind them and retracted the ramp and ran over to the intercom and said: "Our friends are inside! Let's get the Hell out of here!" Hera said: "Roger that, Spectre 1!" Then they flew out of the planet. Kanan looked at the two Jedi Knights and said: "You might want to hold on tight to something. This is going to get really bumpy." Ahsoka said: "You did the slingshot maneuver. I've read about it. It's a very risky form of time travel." Kanan said: "Yeah. That was Hera's idea. Ezra wasn't very keen on that idea. Now I know why. Turns out he's seen it before and knew the risks. He tried to warn Hera about the risks of doing it. She didn't listen. But she did let him do it since he had more experience with that maneuver than she did. Thank the Force. If we ever have to do that again, I trust him since he had more experience with that maneuver than she did." Ezra said over the intercom: "Hang on tight!" Kanan grabbed ahold of the ladder and held on tight. The two Jedi Knights both found something to hold on to and held on tight. Then they felt the ship shaking and tightened their grip. Soon the shaking stopped and Ezra said: "We're clear. It's safe to let go." Kanan said: "Good to hear that." Then they let go. Anakin said: "Glad that's over." Kanan said: "Me too." Ahsoka said: "That makes three of us. I hope we never do that again."
