Sucked Into Minecraft!

Originally Written: Late 2016

Note: This one was my second time writing fanfiction (the first one was the 2014 crackfic) and writing a 'sucked-into-a-game' scene. I had a few variants but this one was the one I most knew of. And the 'Dan' I mention here - is DanTDM, while the 'Joseph' in this story - is Stampy.

Natalie-Nicola greeted, noticing how two British men had suddenly arrived at her door. "Good morning, may I help you?"

That was when the one with brown curly hair, green eyes and an orange jumper responded. "Good morning! Dan and I were just wondering if we could play our game on your XBOX?"

The one dressed more like a scientist with blue hair, presumably called Dan, added. "As I got this as a gift for my birthday recently. So, can we please come in? And that's my friend, Joseph"

Natalie-Nicola turned and shouted. "Brittany! Would you like to let these two play on your XBOX?!"

Brittany called back. "Yes."

Natalie-Nicola then smiled as she let the men into the house. Confident, she then headed off to wherever Brittany needed her (likely sorting out the laundry or cooking). Not knowing that something was about to happen in the living room.

In the living room, Joseph and Dan looked at each other for a moment before smiling with an idea. Dan opened the disc case before getting out the game Minecraft. Joseph's eyes sparkled in delight as Dan then opened the disc tray. All there was to do now - was to turn on the console and activate the television. But when the two then went to turn on the television - it froze for a moment as a vortex then opened up. Right in the living room.

I won't go into too much detail, but that was when - after losing their grip on the couch... Joseph and Dan got sucked into the world of Minecraft. And the only witness - a stubborn cat who kept meowing from behind the door. Even after it ended, it continued to meow as it went through the back way to where Brittany and Natalie-Nicola were.

Natalie-Nicola asked. "IS everything okay? You were meowing a lot. Do you need us to follow?"

That was when the cat proceeded to guide them to the living room. To their shock - the XBOX was on and showed a Minecraft world with the men in it, while the living room was a mess.

Natalie-Nicola concluded. "Brittany - you can go in and rescue the men, while I clean up."

Brittany nodded at this, and using an app on her phone - proceeded to generate a portal into the game and randomly spawned an exit somewhere inside of Minecraft. It was now time - for Brittany (XBOX Username: BritNat9697) to guide Dan and Joseph out of the game after that accident.

There was one key moment in the story that was stuck in my head. While exploring, Dan quickly gets distracted by the looks of a Minecraft track that was the start of a rollercoaster that a friend must've started to build. Dan gets too curious and goes on it. Cue an epic pursuit that results in Brittany being annoyed that the track ended near a group of cacti. Dan's still alive, but is dizzy and has cacti thorns in him. The trio eventually find the portal and escape.
