He just kept staring at the screen, thinking that maybe it was a dream, maybe he was hallucinating, that all of it wasn't true. Because there was no damn way that Ga On would betray him like that. No fucking way.
It's true that Ga On was a spy at the beginning of all this, sent by none other than Min Jung Ho to get information out of Yo Han and get some evidence that he was a criminal. Sure, it started like that.
But that was before.
It was before Ga On chose him.
The younger told him all about his role in this and he told Yo Han that he finally chose a side, that he wasn't going to help Min Jung Ho anymore, that he wanted to be on his side.
That he wanted him.
And it wasn't just about choosing sides in a war and deciding who you want to work with, no. It was so much more than that.
For them, it was about feelings as well.
He knows no matter what morals Ga On had, that the second he chose him, it was done. Ga On was willing to do anything and everything for Yo Han and with Yo Han. They shared a special connection none of them ever had with anyone.
So whatever the hell Ga On just did wasn't only about Yo Han's plans, no.
It was on a personal level and it momentarily hurt like hell.
He couldn't believe Ga On would jeopardize their trust and understanding like that. He couldn't believe that the younger would do something like that if he had feelings for him.
All of it suddenly made Yo Han doubt everything.
Was Ga On being sincere in all of this? Was he seriously into him? Or was all of that just a part of his own plan? Was he just pretending to like him to get close to him? Was he planning to ruin everything from the start? Yo Han had so many damn questions.
And when Ga On apparently wasn't able to say anything during that press conference and Min Jung Ho stepped up, Yo Han's blood boiled. He hasn't been this angry in a very long time.
But most of all, he was disappointed. And hurt.
That's why he left the courtroom and went upstairs to his office to just get a moment alone, to release his anger somehow, so that he wouldn't do anything stupid.
He took a few deep breaths when he was in the privacy of his office and started analyzing everything.
All of this was ridiculous and it made him feel like he was a kid again. Because that's what was happening, wasn't it? People were treating him like he was a monster. Min Jung Ho put him in a really bad light with talking about all the trial manipulation and lies and wanting to kill people.
That was a problem.
He needs people to understand that he didn't do any of this for fun. There's an endgame to all of that and it's necessary. He's not doing any of it because he's evil, he's doing it to punish the evil, to avenge his brother.
And he was sure Ga On knew that, he thought he understood that.
Apparently he was wrong, or Ga On was just playing a role.
And—
There was a knock on the door. Someone actually dared to come into his office at this time. And Yo Han knows damn well who that is and he's not sure he wants to have this conversation right now. He's too angry and too hurt at the same time. The bad thing is that he knows the anger will win here.
