It felt like they stood there for hours, or even days, but in reality it was very short. As soon as he grabbed Yo Han's wrist and begged him to stay, he noticed that the older man was looking around, clearly stressed.

They were out in the open after all, and well, Yo Han was supposed to be dead.

So even though Ga On got really hurt when Yo Han let go of him, he knew he did it for a reason. He took a step back and motioned with his head to the side. "Follow me," he simply said.

Ga On kept his distance a little, knowing it would be a bit suspicious if they just walked together. He was hoping Yo Han wouldn't abandon him though. Thankfully he led them to a parking lot and got inside a car that looked very similar to one of his old cars, though a bit different – a black SUV with very much tinted windows.

As soon as Ga On got inside the car as well, he looked at Yo Han expectantly, but the older man simply started the car and pulled out of the parking lot.

"Where are we going?" Ga On asked, wanting to know what was going on.

"Somewhere we can talk," Yo Han shrugged. "Can we go to your house?" He asked then.

Could they? Well, surely it was a place safe to talk. Yo Han has actually never been in his house. Ga On's never invited him there, there was never a need for Yo Han to be there. So of course they could go there, it was just a little bit weird to have Yo Han in his house after all this time.

"Sure," Ga On simply said. He was actually very happy that Yo Han listened to him and was very willing to talk and spend some time together. It was a small win for him. He just needed a bigger one now, he just didn't know where he should start with all of this.

He obviously had a lot of apologizing to do, but he also needed to voice out some of his own anger.

Because as much as he knows he hurt Yo Han, Yo Han hurt him too. And he doesn't know which side to acknowledge first.

"So, you left. For a month," Ga On decided to speak, to get at least one thing out of the way. "You didn't say where you were going. You didn't tell me you were planning to fake your death again. I had to find out from Ms. Ji that you're actually alive," he pointed out all that, just to let Yo Han know why he was a bit angry at him. "W-was it to punish me?" He asked then, needing to know.

Because honestly? He thought Yo Han did this on purpose. He thought the older man was still furious with him about the betrayal and he decided to just play with Ga On's feelings and fake his death two times and not tell him so that he'd fall apart.

"No," Yo Han said right away though. "I didn't leave because I wanted to punish you, I didn't ignore you to punish you. I just needed to lay low," the man explained.

Fair enough, Ga On could understand that.

"Most of all, I needed to put Elijah first," Yo Han continued. "I'm really sorry I abandoned you after everything that happened, but she's my priority. She always will be. No matter what I feel and how much I may want you, I'll always put her first. You have to know that."

That's fair. And Ga On does know that. He completely understands that Elijah is the most important for him and he's fine with that. He just thinks that Yo Han can have so much more in life.

"I'm okay with that," he said to Yo Han. "I understand that she's your only family, I know she's important, trust me, I get that. I love her too. I don't have a problem with you putting her first," he admitted, and that was the truth. "It's just— Well, put her first, I'm fine with that. Just— Don't exclude me from your life, Yo Han. Please."

It seemed like too big of a conversation to have in a car like that, not facing each other. Thankfully Ga On's place wasn't too far away and to be fair Yo Han was driving pretty fast, so they were basically already almost there.
