Chap 41

"Yah, Oppa don't put that there!" Lisa yelled at Taehyung, who was about to place a few roses in a corner.

They were currently decorating the park they rented out for Jaesuemin's birthday, they could easily get an event planner but they prefer to do this themselves.

Roseanne and Lisa were in charge of the designs and making sure everything looked good, Jisoo was forbidden to do a lot of work so she was only allowed to perform minor jobs like arranging the tables and stuff like that.

Jennie took care of the balloons along with J-hope, Jimin and Jungkook took care of the lights.

Namjoon was with his girlfriend while Yoongi and Jieun, were taking care of the kids

"Hey, Hey!, That balloon color contrasts with the birthday theme." Roseanne quickly points out.

"We need more roses and tulips." Jisoo chuckled at Roseanne before picking up her phone and making a call. "We need more animal themed balloons and some roses as well as tulips." She hung up.

"Kook, pull that end." Jimin says trying to untangle the lights, "Can we just get another pair of lights, this is tiring." Jungkook groaned

"No, we need the sunset orange color and you know it's custom made," Jimin said getting up from the ground, the lights spell out 'JAESUEMIN FINALLY 1' with a sunset orange glow and the strings were tangled from obviously not being taken good care of while transporting.

"Custom made my foot, people are barely coming, do you think Jae's going to notice?" Jungkook raised a brow frustrated.

"Jae's not going to notice but those women will, so just shut up." Jimin rolled his eyes, stepping on a string and pulled another part.

"So we're doing this because of them?, I'll go give them a piece of my mind." Jungkook marched up to Lisa and Roseanne who were discussing designs while mumbling.

"It's a different thing to die and ask for death." Jimin mumbled holding a banner which had 'Happy 1st birthday, Jae!' written in gold bold letters.  

"Um, ladies," Jungkook called making Lisa and Roseanne face him "Yes?"

"We can't continue untangling the lights, it's confusing and frustrating, So we'd—" "We?" Lisa asked looking behind him to see no one

"Okay, I would like to complain." "About?"

"Well, those lights are tangled and so stressful, so I'd like you ladies to come handle it."
Silence

Jungkook looked at them both, Lisa and Roseanne stared at him before turning around and guiding everyone else

"Excuse me. That's so rude." "Move." Lisa states as Jungkook stood in front of her. "I will not, you girls—" He notices Roseanne and Lisa's hard glare on him, he gulps "—I'll go continue my work."

"Thought you wanted to put up a fight?" Roseanne asked "Me??, Fight??, I'd never!" Jungkook quickly ran off "You married a coward." Roseanne teased Lisa "Trust me, I'm not proud of it, but, As they say, Love is blind." Lisa clicked her tongue making Roseanne chuckle.

"So, the girls aren't helping us?" Jimin asked mockingly "Oh, they were so intimidated, I decided to just let them off, after all we're the men." Jimin chuckles "Yeah, Whatever,"

The sun began to dip below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow across the park, the air was filled with laughter and the soft sounds of nature. Everyone coming were exuding elegance and warmth, loved this beautiful outdoor setting to celebrate the new milestone in Jaesuemin's life.

Brightly colored balloons floated gently in the breeze, attached to the trees,  white wooden chairs arranged in a semi-circle around a charming picnic area. The large, pastel-colored banner reading "Happy 1st Birthday, Jae" hung between two trees, adorned with twinkling fairy lights that would soon illuminate the area as dusk fell. The tables were draped in soft, white linens and decorated with delicate floral centerpieces featuring pink peonies and baby's breath, adding a touch of sophistication to the playful atmosphere.

The lights were later ditched after so much difficulty.

A Range Rover pulled up at the entrance and Jimin and Roseanne who were welcoming guests immediately went to it, They took the kids out gently.

"Where's Jae?" Jimin asked with furrowed eyebrows "She's meant to arrive with Jisoo unnie later." Jimin nodded and led the kids inside.

A whimsical cake table nearby showcased a stunning, multi-tiered cake adorned with fresh flowers and a sparkling number one candle, ready to be the centerpiece of the celebration. The warm hues of the sunset, combined with the joy and laughter of the children, created an unforgettable scene, capturing the essence of a perfect first birthday party.

"Are you excited?" Jisoo asked Jaesuemin who giggled "Yes!" Jisoo smiled warmly. They were both in the back seat making their way to the venue, "You're gonna make a grand entrance, everyone will be looking at you, with envy." Jisoo chuckled as she saw Jaesuemin's eyes light up, Jaesuemin adored being in the spotlight.

A horn resounded and the car suddenly jerked right, Jisoo quickly held Jaesuemin "What's wrong?" Jisoo asked "Nothing, the vehicle came out of no—"
