Chapter 57

Chaeyoung's eyes slowly fluttered open, her head, back, and feet hurt, everywhere was hurting.

Her hands were tied to a chair so there was no way she could do anything. She looked around the room, trying to take in her surroundings.

Jisoo was tied beside her but the kids were no where in sight. The room had no windows and just a metal door, which was obviously locked.

Roseanne rolled her eyes 'Typical' she muttered, trying to untie the robes bounding her wrists.

"Whoever did this is a fucking amateur. They should be thankful I'm pregnant." She scoffed, still trying to undo the ropes.

All her attempts failed so she tried reaching into her pocket to retrieve the small retractable knife.

After a lot of effort, she reached the pocket, just to find it empty. She threw her head back in disappointment. "Of course it's gone." She groaned, realizing they had probably did a body scan for them, and took off any weapons.

She turned to Jisoo. "Psst! Psst! Unnie! Unnie wake up!" She yelled but Jisoo remained unmoving.

"Unnie!" No response "Unnie!" ——— "Jisoo Unnie!" Roseanne groaned remembering they drugged them and all her attempts are futile.

"Jeez! How long will she be out for?" Chaeyoung groaned loudly, thinking of an escape plan. Then she heard footsteps approaching. She quickly pretended to be unconscious.

The large metal door opened, scraping against the ground in a way that almost made Chaeyoung wince out loud.

'Talk about poor maintenance." She said mentally.

"They're still unconscious?" A man asked walking over to Chaeyoung and Jisoo.

"Maybe we overdosed them." Another replied causing the other to hum.

"Did you check on the kids?" One asked "Yep, they're also unconscious." Man #2 says

Man#1 groaned out loud, "When are they going to wake up so the fun begins?!"

"I'm actually glad they aren't awake yet, they'd give us a hard time and Irina will too." Man 2 replied

'Irina? Of course it's that desperate bitch.' Chaeyoung scoffed internally.

"Yeah, but she's actually really smart. Trapped bangpink, kidnapped their kids and pregnant wives."

"Hm, she's crazy. I actually thought she was delusional to think she can wipe out all of Bangpink. But she's doing it."

Man #1 chuckled. "To think these people are the most powerful people in the underworld."

The metal door opened again and the sound of heels clanking resonated in the room.

"What exactly are you guys doing?" The feminine voice asked. Her voice was cold, and detached.

"Um, we came to check on them, ma'am." Man #2 nervously replied.

"You're pathetic." Irina snickered, "Leave." She said and the 2 men quickly shuffled out.

"Idiots, like why did I hire them." She mumbled to herself before walking to the other end of the room.

Chaeyoung heard shuffling and clanking in a distance. She wanted to peak, but figured it was an amateur move.

Soon, Irina's footsteps got closer. "This guys probably overdosed them. They should have been awake by now."

She kissed her teeth, pushing some of Chaeyoung's hair back.

"I really want to cut this." She mumbled, Chaeyoung had to physically stop herself from blowing her cover.

"What are you doing?" A manly voice came from a distance.

Irina stiffened while Chaeyoung's hair stood on end.

"W-Wilson. I thought you were coming in later." Irina stammered out.

Wilson?

Chaeyoung wanted to yell at him. Weren't they blood. They say "Blood is thicker than water" but not in this case.

Wilson kidnapped his pregnant cousins and their kids. He's lost all his marbles for him to do this. Water is thicker than blood on his side of the family.

After all his dad was a monster, with no heart, zero sympathy. And absolutely no joy in his damned life.

Chaeyoung gritted her teeth as Wilson got closer. "Don't try to do anything reckless. I told you to get them, trap the rest. Not do as you please with them."

Irina rolled her eyes. "What do you even plan to do with them. Just let me kill all of them, then we can rule the underworld together."

Wilson grabbed Irina by the neck, chocking her. "Watch your damn mouth. And we're not killing them, don't you dare lay your hands on them."

Chaeyoung almost grinned 'Maybe he does love family more' "I have something worse than death prepared for them." Wilson continued

Chaeyoung rolled her eyes, 'Of course he does.'
