Chap 46

The sunlight filtered softly through the oversized windows of the main mansion, illuminating the festive decorations that adorned every corner.

The Kids' rooms had been transformed overnight, as if by magic, into a Christmas wonderland.

Jiwon, now 7 yawned and sat up in his space themed bed, He rubbed his eyes and got up, he walked to the window pulling the curtain open, he yawned again before his eyes widened.

"It's Christmas!, It's Christmas!" He threw his arms in the air jumping while squealing. Throwing his door open, he padded down the hall to wake the other.

"Ryujin!, wake up!" Jiwon yelled as he barged into his six-year-old cousin's room. Ryujin groaned and waved him off pulling the blanket over her head.

"Ryujin, Get up!, it's Christmas!" He yelled shaking her "I don't—Wait, Christmas?" She quickly sat up, "It's Chrismas!" She squealed, bolting out of bed.

The two teamed up to wake Jaesuemin, who  was still sound asleep, clutching her favorite stuffed chipmunk, a gift from last Christmas. "Minnie, wake up!, Santa came!" Ryujin said, gently shaking her. Jaesuemin stirred and yawned, her face lighting up as she realized what day it was... "Yay! Presents!"

Next, they marched into Hailey's room, singing Christmas songs, Hailey was still snuggled under a blanket embroidered with her name, her arms wrapped tightly around her stuffed bunny.

"Hailey!, It's Christmas ~" Jaesuemin sang, After a while, Hailey was still sleeping, "Do you want to build a snowman?" Ryujin asked

"Hm," Hailey hummed but still snuggled closer to her bunny "Do you want your present? If so wakes up, Now!" Hailey's eyes snapped open "Presents!"

Last was Taehyun, the three-year-old boy was already sitting up, rubbing his eyes with his tiny fists "Is it time?" He asked in a sleepy voice "Yes, Come on!" Jiwon said, pulling him out of bed.

The kids descended the grand staircase together, while chatting and singing, their little feet pattering against the marble floor. The mansion was decked out in opulent holiday decor.

Garlands of evergreen and gold ribbon spiraled down the bannisters, and the chandelier above sparkled with hanging ornaments. The staff had truly outdone themselves.

The kids ran into the great hall and gazed at the towering 20-feet Christmas tree adorned with thousands of lights, crystal nornaments, and a dazzling golden star at the top.

Beneath it lay a mountain of gifts, wrapped in shimmering paper with intricate bows. The sight made the children gasp in awe.

"Merry Christmas!" Chaeyoung greeted them as she approached, holding a tray of steaming hot cocoa topped with whipped cream and candy canes. She was glowing, her pregnancy making her look radiant.

Jennie and Lisa followed, each carrying plates of freshly baked cookies, Jisoo walked in last, her belly prominent under her festive dress. Jin and the other dad were by the tree, wearing matching Christmas sweaters and grinning at the kids' reactions.

"Who wants to open presents?" Taehyung asked, his deep voice warm and cheerful.

"Me, Me, Me!" The kids chorused, running to their designated pile of gifts. Each child had a section of the tree devoted to them, with their names elegantly embroidered on satin stockings hanging nearby.

Presents were opened with shrieks of Joy and laughter. Jiwon unwrapped a limited-edition train set and immediately began to assemble it with Jin's help. Ryujin squealed when she unboxed a life-sized dollhouse, complete with tiny furniture and a working elevator.

Hailey, being the youngest and the one with the longest list of gifts, received a dazzling array of plush toys, princess dresses, and her very own mini tea set.

Taehyun opened a box containing a child-sized drum kit, which he banged on excitedly, much to everyone's amusement—and slight annoyance. Jaesuemin was ecstatic over her new collection of stuffed animals, clutching them all to her chest at once.

The parents watched fondly, sipping coffee and occasionally stepping in to help untangle ribbons or assemble toys. "Family is all you need for a perfect Christmas." Lisa murmured as she braided Hailey's hair. "And presents!" Hailey added causing Lisa to laugh.

"Alright, Kids. It's our turn," Jimin said, clapping his hands and leading the way to the cozy room.

Jin handed Jisoo a small velvet box, his eyes soft. "This is from me and Jiwon," He said placing a hand on her rounded belly. Jisoo opened it to find a delicate charm bracelet, each charm representing a milestone in their family—one for their marriage, Another a space charm to represent Jiwon, and a rattle for their unborn baby son.

Tears filled her eyes, "You don't like it?" Jin asked "It's the damn hormones, I love it, it's beautiful." She hugged him tight and he returned it.

Jisoo's gift to Jin was a handwritten Journal She'd been working on for months, filled with letters to him, stories of their life together and even sketches of moments they shared. "I wanted you to have something personal." She explained, Chaeyoung suddenly butted in "I drew the sketches." Jisoo rolled her eyes.

Yoongi handed Jieun a custom vinyl record engraved with their wedding date, featuring a playlist of their favorite songs and a few lullabies they both made for Ryujin.

Jieun's gift was more practical but no less meaningful. She had paid an artist to paint a family portrait of the three of them. Yoongi smiles at the painting, already seeing it hanging in their family room.

Jimin gave Chaeyoung with an elegant baby memory book for their unborn daughter,  custom-made with intricate gold detailing on the cover. Inside, it had spaces for photos, notes, and milestones. "I want us to fill this together," Jimin said, his voice filled with emotion.

Roseanne's gift to Jimin was a framed ultrasound photo of their baby girl, surrounded by handwritten notes and tiny illustrations of things their daughter might love... "She will definitely love salads with how much you eat it these days." Jimin chuckled

Taehyung had gone big, gifting Jennie a stunning necklace encrusted with rare gemstone, each representing a member of their family.

"You're the center of it all," He said, placing it around her neck. Jennie, always practical, handed him a sleek leather-bound planner embossed with their initials, filled with notes, family schedules, and reminders. "You need to stay on track," she teased.

Jungkook gave Lisa a personalized photo album chronicling their journey as parents, with adorable snapshots of Hailey. "This is just the start," he said, pulling her into a hug.

Lisa's gift to Jungkook was a shirt with a picture of Lisa and Hailey printed on it.

After the gift frenzy, the family moved to the dining hall, where an extravagant brunch was laid out. Platters of fluffy pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, fresh fruits, and pastries filled the long table.

A towering chocolate fountain stood at the center, surrounded by marshmallows and strawberries for dipping.

"Can I have extra syrup?" Jaesuemin asked Jimin sweetly, tugging on his sleeve. "Anything for my princess," Jimin replied, pouring syrup over her pancakes.

"Taehyun, no more sweets before you finish your eggs!" Jennie chided gently as Taehyun tried to sneak another marshmallow.

Meanwhile, Lisa and Chaeyoung shared a laugh over Jisoo's cravings. "I swear, this baby  just wants bacon," Jisoo said piling her plate high.

"Come on, After brunch, we can go play outside, build snowmen, Make snow angels and of course have a snowball fight!" Lisa said which made the kids squeal and quickly start stuffing their face.

"Slow down, we don't want you chocking." Jimin chuckled.
