Chap 48

The kids were up even before the sun, causing trouble while their parents slept. The playroom was in total chaos. "Taehyun! don't drop that there! you'll ruin my castle." Jaesuemin yelled at her cousin who was about to place a block on the wrong side.

"But...I want it there and dad says I can do whatever I want!" Taehyun crossed his arms and replied "Well, do whatever you want over there, far away from my castle." Jaesuemin pointed to a far end that made Taehyun pout and mumble "I'll be good."

Ryujin was laying on the ground drawing with precise focus, "What are you drawing?" Hailey walked over and asked "Our house." Ryujin replied not looking up "House?" Hailey looked at her in confusion then tilted her head at the drawing "It looks like dog poop."

Ryujin huffed and dropped her crayon, "I'd like to see you draw better with your two left hands." Hailey gasped, then glared at Ryujin before running out of the room.

Jiwon walked over with the toy sword he was playing with. "You do know she's going to tell Uncle Jungkook and then our parents will wake up."

"So?" Ryujin asked totally not bothered "It's not like they'll stop us from playing." Jiwon looked at her for a while before shrugging and walking away

Ryujin picked up a different colour of  crayon to continue her drawing but sighed "She ruined my vision...I'm going to sleep." With that Ryujin got up and dusted her PJ's. "It's still so early." Taehyun said to her and she rolled her eyes "Whatever."

The door suddenly opened revealing Jennie in a robe over her nightgown and her hair pulled into a messy bun. "Why are you kids awake? You have school today, No?" Jennie asked walking up to them.

"Aunt Jennie, We're just up early." Jiwon stepped closer to Jennie "It's 6 in the morning you still need your rest."

"We don't need rest, it's Hailey and Taehyun who have to rest." Jennie chuckled at Ryujin's words.

"No, you all need rest, if not, you'll be too weak to do anything then you'll get heavy eye-bags and you won't look beautiful—or handsome." She turned to face Jiwon who's face was now pale as he gripped his face and ran to his room.

Jennie shook her head, so maybe there were benefits to him caring more about his face than anything else.

"What's wrong with him?" Jisoo asked walking into the room, "The usual." Jennie shrugged and picked Taehyun up settling him on her side

"Hm, Ryujin your mom's looking for you downstairs." Jisoo said and Ryujin hurried away calling for her mom.

"Suemin!" Chaeyoung's voice echoed through the halls and Jaesuemin ran out.

Taehyun snuggled into his mom's embrace "Let's get you to bed, sweetheart." Jennie said walking out, "I want to sleep with you and daddy." Taehyun murmured softly wrapping his arms around Jennie neck.

"Let's go, my love." Jennie whispered into his ear as his eyes started to droop.

Jennie chuckled lightly 'Just like his father.' She thought walking into her and Taehyung's room.

The men were still asleep after their late night mission, they were exhausted thus they weren't awake, and their wives made sure they slept well.

After tucking the kids in they all gathered in the main lounge, talking. "I heard the guys talking about expansion. Did they tell any of you?" Jieun asked sipping her coffee "Yeah, Jin did mention something like that." Jisoo replied plopping down on the seat opposite the TV she just turned on.

"Expansion? Like they want to take over new territories?" A voice came from behind for them to see Momo—Hoseok girlfriend with a bunch of shopping bags in her hand.

"Something like that." Chaeyoung nodded with a cheeky grin, while Momo groaned sitting on the couch closet to her and dropped the bags by her foot.

"So, they're going to...You know go into war?" Momo asked, her eyes widening briefly at the possibility.

"Who's going to war?" Another voice resounded and they turned to see Jihyo—Namjoon's girlfriend replacing her heels for cozy indoor slippers.

"The guys." Lisa replied "The what? My baby is also going! What if something bad happens, I have to talk him out of it." Jihyo replied hastily making her way upstairs but she was pulled back by Jennie who just stepped out of the kitchen.

"Calm down." Jennie said holding up her hand "It's going to be fine. You knew what they did before you agreed to date him, right? And in the mafia, expansion is necessary." Jihyo let out a shaky breath running her hand through her hair.

"But-" "No, but's sweetie, they'll be fine, this isn't their first rodeo." Jisoo said "How are you guys so calm about this?" Momo asked

"Probably because we're used to it, it's not all that bad, so you can breathe, k?" Lisa said

"Yeah, let's have a girls night, tonight!" Chaeyoung suggested while the others nodded settling into seat and watching a movie.

"Why are you guys here so early in the morning?" Jieun asked "Well, we just landed in Korea and we decided instead of going to a hotel we can come stay with you guys. Right?"

"Of course, the doors are always open to you ladies, you're family now." Jisoo smiled
