“LOG 3. We are both infected. This sucks. But, but! Uh, we’ve had some breakthroughs. We have learned how the newly named Ferality mutation happens, but it’s a buncha science shit I do not care about, so let’s get to the fun part. We can now predict how we’ll mutate. I’m predicted to hit Stage 3B with Vulpine. So. She may have redundancy though. Right, right. There’s been a worse development. We have found 2 new mutations. Nicknamed ‘Imitators’ and ‘Foresters.’ You’ll see why. So, I’ll explain. Imitators first. They imitate transformed humans but are entirely cannibalistic. Human flesh, only. And Foresters are even rarer variants of Imitators that hide in forests and woodlands. The obvious threat this provides is something we gotta think about. As such, I…have been appointed head researcher of these 2. I’m very excited, if you couldn’t tell. Dr. Wilson is the secondary and she’s not sure why she got this, but who’s fighting it?  Not me, that girl is convinced she could fight God and win, and she’s probably right. I’m not gonna tell her otherwise. So, as such, we’ve been moved into an auxiliary lab. But, to explain them. Imitators look like regular Foxtrot infecteds, but with empty eyes. Ambush predators who try and lure people in before quickly going for the throat, because they're pretty fragile. They metamorphosize into Foresters or Butchers, Foresters are very tall and lanky, and very fast. They hide in woodlands and forests, and wait for humans to wander in. They can wait for months at a time without eating, and can last up to a year. They're also pretty fragile, but much harder to hit. Butchers, on the other hand, are large and TOUGH. Big, and fast. You would have to hide in a small place to get away. They are more feral then anthropomorphic, on 4 legs, like large predatory animals. Imagine a general large werewolfesque animal. They like don’t really have any specific hunting styles aside from just “murder”, but it depends on the animal the Imitator imitated before going through metamorphosis. AVOID AREAS WITH THEM AT ALL COSTS, they will smell you and hunt you down. None of the regular Foxtrot test subjects can do this rn, so. That’s good ig? We’ve had 3 test subjects who have been showing signs of becoming Imitators. Now labelled as XP and RT. And Aether, but we’ll get to him. Originally, they weren’t of any note because they were just becoming equally violent as AO or NW. XP and RT are being separated due to fighting over “territory’, so that’s worrying. Probably becoming Foresters after Imitators. They can’t escape the lab especially, for obvious reasons. XP was wolf like and RT resembles a lynx. Aether looks like a deer. They’re already dangerous, and the mutations make it worse. Aether is worse off, being more aggressive. Like a Butcher…this is bad. Our safety measures are being doubled and upgraded fast, because Butchers are powerful. We can’t show ourselves to them anymore, and…I don’t know how we’ll feed them. Because they are entirely dependant on humans for their diet and I don’t want to have to feed them people…that’d stay in my conscious forever. … A-anyway. We’ll probably figure something out. Maybe we could make an alternative with similar nutrients…I’ll just…end this log here.”
