Standing as one

(3rd Person POV)

Some time after leaving the helicarrier Tony Stark arrives in New York with his damaged armor barely keeping him airborne. He flies to his tower to the very top and sees Dr. Selvig, working on a machine with the tesseract inside, aimed up at the sky. "Turn it off Doctor." Tony says to the man who responds with a smile. "He's trying to show us something... A new universe." Tony sighs in irritation and fires a repulsor blast, which knocks him and the Doctor away. "Sir, that barrier is pure energy, it's unbreakable." Tony's AI Jarvis says in his helmet. "Yea I got that, Plan B." Tony says looking down, noticing Loki.

He Descends and lands on an elevated balcony that starts removing his armor piece by piece. Once inside Loki speaks first. "Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity." Tony walks around to his bar. "No, I plan to threaten you." Tony says with a casual air asking if Loki would like a drink. Loki says that stalling won't change anything, to which Tony insists he is being threatening. Loki turns around and looks out the window "The Chitari are coming, nothing will change that. What have I to fear?" Loki finishes turning back to Tony. Not even looking up from pouring his drink Tony responds. "The Avengers." Loki looks confused but Tony continues. "That's what we call ourselves sorta like a team, Earth's mightiest heroes." Loki chuckles and says he's met them. "Takes a while for us to get any traction, but let's do a headcount here your brother, a demigod, A super soldier a living legend, who kinda lives up to the legend, A man with breathtaking anger management issues, couple of master assassins, a teen with extraordinary power capable of going toe to toe with your brother, and you big fella... you managed to piss off every single one of them." Tony finishes his speech while taking a sip of his drink.

"Midoriya is the boy's name, is it not?" Loki says with interest. Tony stops for a moment, then speaks. "Did the glowstick tell you that, cause earlier I remember you were asking who he is." Loki smiles sinisterly. "You are somewhat correct. That boy, he is interesting, I wish for nothing more than to have the power he holds or rip him apart, and maybe you'll be the one to do both for me." Loki says as presses the tip of his scepter on Tony's chest. When nothing happens except a clinking noise Loki tries again, voicing his confusion Tony interjects. "Well performance issues... one in five....." Getting cut off by Loki grabbing his throat and throwing him to the floor, Loki lifts him up by the neck and tells Tony that they will all fall before him.

Loki proceeds to throw Tony through the window, shattering it in the process. A capsule bursts from the wall behind Loki and scans wrist bands on Tony's wrist, the capsule proceeds to wrap itself around the man in free fall, and before he can splatter onto the pavement, Tony flies back up to Loki in a suit of armor and blasts Loki on his back. The machine on the roof of the building activates and a blue beam goes up into the air and opens a portal and immediately chitauri soldiers riding on their advanced chariots come flying through and start shooting their weapons indiscriminately. "Right. Army." Tony says switching his HUD to combat mode, and flies up to meet these invaders destroying a few that he passes by.

(Deku POV)

"Midoriya, get out there and help Stark, we'll give you cover fire." Captain Rogers ordered standing next to me in the jet. "Yes Sir!" I say opening the rear ramp while activating Float, and flying up with air force to fight these alien invaders. "What did ya guys stop for ice cream? I'm coming down the street, you take'em out." Mr. Stark says through the earpiece and he comes around a corner with a small pack of aliens following him, I activate Black Whip and grab a few of them and slam them into each other causing an explosion. I looked up and saw even more aliens coming from the hole in the sky and all of them were spreading across the city. "I'm going to work on containment, I won't let them leave the city." I said while following a pack and destroying them. I hear a small explosion, and see the jet carrying Captain Rogers, Natasha, and Mr. Barton one of its wings is on fire and the jet goes into a controlled crash, landing on the street below. I beeline straight for the downed aircraft as everyone exits. "Are you all ok?" I ask full of concern. "We're alright Izuku, but I need you to get back up there, Stark is going to need back up." Captain Rogers tells me while he and the two assassins follow him towards Stark Tower.
