( 3rd Person POV)

"Mr. Midoriya Detective Quin is calling for you. Should I take a message?" JARVIS announced to a sleeping Midoriya. Sighing in resignation Midoriya answered JARVIS' question. "No thank you JARVIS, it might be important to the case." Sitting up Midoriya grabs his phone and answers it. "Deku, thank you for the evidence that you sent me last night, I checked out the docks as well with a team of officers, Although the shipment containers that you told me about are completely empty." As Detective Quin paused to let the information settle Midoriya wore a look of disappointment. "That's not the reason I called you though, I plan to stake out the docks later tonight, and I would appreciate your presence there in case anything goes sideways." "I'll be there, but how do you know anyone will show up?" Midoriya responded quickly and curiously. "I asked a person experiencing homelessness to cooperate. He agreed but wanted to be guaranteed safety." Midoriya felt uneasy putting a random unfortunate person's life on the line, but he understood why the detective had done this. "Alright, I understand, what time should I be there and where?" "Meet at the abandoned bar across the street from the pier at 8pm, knock four times, two times in quick succession and two times slowly, got it?" "Yes ma'am I'll be there."

With that the call ended, and Midoriya decided to get ready for the long day ahead of him. Exiting his room he went to where the kitchen was and prepared something simple but protein filled. After finishing his breakfast he went into the gym and did his Wednesday routine consisting of pull ups, bicep curls, and a blowout circuit. After finishing his work out he showered and put on his costume and went on patrol early.

(Deku POV)

'You're worrying about the less fortunate man in the stake out.' I heard En say as he appeared next to me. I nodded my head, not bothering with a vocal response, as I flew to the park and helped a boy get his kite out of a tree. "Thank you, Deku." The boy said with a big smile as he extended his fist for a fist bump. "It was no trouble." I said with a smile, bumping his fist with mine and then floating back into the air to look for anyone else that needed help. 'You need to have a clear head going into this Midoriya.' En said still next to me. 'He's right kid, remember you're working with the police and they call the shots.' Banjo said appearing on my left side. "So you're saying that if this man is in danger I shouldn't help him?" I challenged, feeling annoyed at the idea of letting a person get hurt or killed due to my inaction. 'That's not what we're saying Izuku, but If you rush in there before a suspect shows up you could scare them away, and I know you could catch them easily but it's like Daigoro said the police are in charge.'

I sighed in defeat as I landed again. 'I understand, but I have this quirk for a reason, and that is to help everyone and save them with a smile.' I said internally as I was walking down the sidewalk. "HELLPP ME!" I'm brought out of my stupor by the scream of a woman in distress, I rush down a nearby alley and see a woman surrounded by four men, the four men all wear lustful faces as they try to approach the woman. Before they can take another step closer to her I activate Black Whip and pull them all off their feet and hang them upside down. "You know if you're trying to get a girlfriend you should be more respectful." I say as I call the police to my location. "F*CK YOU KID!/ LET ME DOWN RIGHT F*CKING NOW!/ Of f*cking course./ We were just tryna get the gal's number." The men spoke at the same time, as I walked over to the woman to check and see if she was alright. "Miss, are you injured at all?" "No, I'm fine thanks to you." She said gratefully. "I was heading back to work when these weirdos started following me, I ran down this alley and they cornered me. I've never been so scared in my life, and I'm so thankful you saved me." She finished with tears streaming down her eyes. I pull her into a hug to comfort her as the police arrive at the scene. I explain what was happening as another police cruiser pulls up, after a moment the four men are in the back of the cruisers heading off to jail. "Thanks again Deku, would you walk with me to my job, please?" "Of course miss." As we start walking to her work she tells me about herself and that she works as a writer for a news channel, after a moment we arrive at a building that has the words Daily Bugle on the top of the roof. "Thanks again for saving me." "It was no problem miss, I'm just doing my duty." I say to her as she walks into the building, after she is out of sight I start floating back into the air.
